Cathe's November Rotation

Where is everyone?

Ok, workout is done... took a bit of creative liberty to "create" a Chest and Tricept workout as I don't have GSCT... I did an upper body premix workout made up of MM and ME DVD's... I definately feel it... My shoulders are very tight and I had a hard time getting through the shoulder part of the workout and skipped the last half of the bicepts...

All I can say is 4 days down and on track! Looking forward to a TM workout tomorrow... might even take furbaby for a walk instead, but I rarely get as good of a workout in the outdoors...

hope all had a great day and look forward to some reports later :)

Okay, just finished Cardio Kicks, had to watch Survivor and the Office first. I used 1 lb wrist weights for the first time and sure felt it in my arms.
The "crayola" job sounds like one dd would enjoy!

Tomorrow, is 30 min bike ride but since there is a big snowstorm currently happening I'm not riding outside and we don't have an indoor bike. I'll use a cardiocoach and do a tm run, I'll probably break up the 2 workouts.

It's great to see everyone sticking to the rotation and being creative with their substitutions. Kim

Dani-great job getting in your self-made chest/tri workout! I pull out ME a lot for the ab section...LOVE those abs!

Kim-the Crayola job last night was FUN! DS loved it, after he kept telling me all day he didn't want to go. We previewed the newest version of their Crayon Maker. For 40 minutes plus travel time....$40 was easy money! GREAT JOB on Cardio Kicks!

Well....the DOMS continue! :) Almost gone in my calves, but stills sore in my lats and shoulders from CK and NOW have DOMS in tris and chest from yesterday! LOL All that arm-swinging in this morning's workout was tough to get started. LOL I did Step Heat, as on the rotation. with the abs. Glad it's done for the day!

Like Dani said.....still on track. Feeling great. The weekend is here, but let's NOT let our guard down when it comes to our eating!

OK...have to sign off now....I'm doing some PTA stuff this AM. We have our annual Pig Races and Bingo Night next Friday and I'm getting all the little piggies ready to award to the classes today at lunch. (electronic piggies, that is. battery-operated...they oink and walk. This is our biggest event of the year! LOL).

Gayle

Aww, the piggies sound cute!

I'm so with you on the weekend eating, often my downfall. Thanks for the reminder.

Did Cardio Coach#2 on the tm instead of the cycling and then did GS Chest/Triceps. I am tired now!! It's going to be a night on the couch I think.

Hi all! Today I did Step Works...still have that one on VHS! It´s been so long since I´ve done that one, but it is one of my favorites. Tomorrow I´ll try the 50 min run...depending on the weather;). did just get some cold weather work out pants and a top, so it might be the time to try them out :)

Keep up the good work!

And BTW, the crayola thing sounds like so much fun...no matter your age:D

Good SATURDAY morning, folks!!! Welcome to the weekend! Let's keep our focus and stay strong and diligent in our eating, ok???

I've had a very solid week, and don't want to lose the focus now that it's the weekend. I've got my fridge full of plenty of clean eats. My only real challenge will be tonight's Halloween party. But I'm taking a homemade garlic bean dip and baby carrots, so I'm going to try to stick to only that. The big problem is that it doesn't start till 8pm, which is when we usually wind down at home....in other words, by that time of the night I'm DONE eating! LOL Stay strong!

This morning's workout on the Nov rotation was a 50 minute run and Ab Hits. So I did iTread 14, which is 45 minutes and I added on 10 minutes somewhere in the middle by pausing it and just running, to make sure I got in the full 50 minutes. Then the abs.

Today's pretty quiet. Not much planned throughout the day....older DS has a project to put together and we'll probaly go visit my Grandmother (who's 96).

Have an awesome day!

Gayle

Well, I must admit that my hip was very sore yesterday so I bagged the workout but plan on doing a shorter TM workout this morning and the High Step Circuit (my replacement for rotation w/o scheduled that I don't have) later this afternoon to get back on track... I did OK eating thursday and even yesterday, with the exception of the chocolate covered twist donut I couldn't resist yesterday morning... lunch was a chicken caesar wrap (half of one and guts of the other half) so pretty good... granola cereal for dinner and in bed with heating pad and messager on right hip by 7pm... I guess I need to make an appointment with an orthopedic dr about all my ailments... Hip and knee pain seems to be the major issues (working out or not) so have just been dealing with the discomfort at rest and during exercise... I can live with the DOMS but this is much more...

Gayle, how are calf DOMS today? I remember doing ME or MM (I tried to block it out so can't remember which one it was for sure ~ lol!) and all those endless calf raises... I couldn't move (straight up anyway) for an entire week! I actually felt better wearing my high heels (and I NEVER wear those at work ~ but walking on my toes felt better than flatfooted...) so I have literally felt your pain!

LALA1: good job on getting your workout done! hope you have some good weather for a run outside today! check back and let us know :)

Kim: how's things for you? good job on your workout, and hope you enjoyed your evening on the couch! friday evenings are good for just relaxin' after a long week!

Hope we all stay strong and follow through with our goals this weekend! Eat as clean as possible and give 110% to each workout. Make it the best w/o to date! We can DO IT!!! :)

Well I did Step Heat this morning as well as another hour of shovelling snow/breaking up ice. Wishing tomorrow was my rest day but Monday's a busy day so I usually plan to take it off. I took dd to Madgascar II, cute movie.

Dani Have you had a previous hip injury?? Can you get in to see the dr soon?

Gayle Have fun at the Halloween party. I've never heard of a Halloween party a week later.

Lala1 Did you get to run outside??
Kim

Hi Kim: I did not have any injury per se that I can think of, but had been told about 12 years or so ago when I had an issue similar to a sciatica episode by a chiropractor that my right hip did not rotate properly. he recommended some stretches and such and I did the on and off. It just seems the older I get, the more it irritates me and the harder it is to relieve the pain... I am also a side sleeper and that doesn't help either!

Good job on the workout!

Gayle: looking forward to a full report on the belated Halloween party too! Hope you have fun!

We are having chicken enchiladas for dinner! Yummy!

Just finished 50 mins on the tm and ab hits #10 so glad that tomorrow is a rest day.

Dani, hope your hip is feeling better!

Gayle How was the Halloween party?

Hope everyone is enjoying their rest day! Kim

HI all!

hip feeling better, but have a feeling that if I don't get my arse off the couch I will be in the same boat as yesterday! I did manage to get a 30 minute interval workout on the TM yesterday afternoon and it felt good, but didn't do the HSC. Still having issues with my WM Rotation Calander and today is supposed to be my rest day, so will see what happens. I should do something today to make up for friday!

Apparently Gayle had too much fun at the party and is recovering this morning :)

successful rotation vibes to all who follow and look forward to some more progress reports later!

cheers,
