Cathe's Gym

This post is too funny only because the day before this question was posted, I was wondering the EXACT same thing and thought about asking on here! Thanks for the answer! :)
 
I was wondering how everyone can follow her instructions in that huge gym. It doesn't look like she is up on a platform.

As far as trying to hear Cathe's instructions, it was almost impossible. I was in the back of the room & the acustics (sp?) was awful. I had to keep my head down in order to hear her as well as follow the girls to the left & right of me. I did mess up b/c I couldn't hear her. Kathy:D
 
But I heard them saying that was going to be fixed. She does have a mic. I heard her alright & I was towards the back in her step class. I still screwed up though.

Does she own both the studio AND the gym part where everybody works out on the machines etc? I didn't think she owned the 2nd part....I thought it was part of the 4 Seasons.....

Jen - the studio and the 4 Seasons are now one entity since the relocation, from what I understand. So Cathe would have ownership in both parts.
 
About Chris...

Y'all have it right. Want a little more info? :)

Road Trippers, Chris (Williams) was the handsome fellow with the quiet smile who was wearing a navy blue Four Seasons shirt and snapping pictures all weekend. Debbie and Lorrayne and I had an opportunity to talk to him a couple of times during the weekend and we wish we'd had more time with him -- he is such a bright, personable and interesting guy! :)

Chris and Cathe met when they were both very young and getting started in the fitness industry (Cathe as an instructor and Chris in club management), and they have been business partners and close friends ever since then. Together with Cathe and her husband, Chris is co-owner of both Four Seasons Health Club and SNM Videos/Cathe dot Com (and all of those businesses are now housed in the new gym). Next time you do a Cathe tape, notice in the credits that Chris co-produces them, along with Greg Twombly (of CIA) and, of course, Cathe.

Chris has been involved in every step of the development of Cathe's career, and this new "phase" of Cathe's growing fame is a very exciting time for Chris as well as for Cathe. They really do share a vision of what Cathe's "brand" stands for, and they care very much about keeping Cathe's message clear and pure!

Chris is a behind-the-scenes guy who obviously is not one to jump forward and look for a lot of credit or attention or hoopla, but he deserves all of that!

Actually, they were "Big Ass Fans". They went along with the "Big Ass" burritos Jes & Sabrina ate on Thursday night. Sorry. Inside joke.
