Cathe Workouts on a Bosu?

I do not yet own a bosu ball but was looking to purchase one to add variety to my step workouts. Has anyone tried/liked doing Cathe step on the bosu? If so, which workouts? I fear that the choreography may be too complicated for such a small surface, but would love to hear if anyone else enjoys this variation.

Thanks for your input!

I've recently purchased a bosu and I love it! I did Cathe's All Step on the Bosu, but it really required concentration and a few of the moves needed to be modified to work with the bosu. I think it's doable but may require some thought to make it work for the bosu. I recently acquired CIA Double Cardio and really love the Bosu Blast. It also has an awesome ab/core section that utlizes the bosu as well. My abs/obliques hurt for two days after that one. Also, I have previewd and plan on doing Monday or Tuesday Bosu Reactive Strength and Power. It looks tough and is varied (one section devoted to legs, the second section devoted to upper body/balance, the third section is cardio/agility training). There are a few workouts on collage video and a bosu is worth having for cross training in my opinion. I haven't had it long enough to figure out what Cathe workouts will work for it. I also think several sections of Jari Love's GR1000 would be adaptible to a bosu. Again, I'm a newbie to the bosu, so hopefully others with more experience will chime in here!

I know, from my limited experience using a bosu at the gym, that even standard moves like lunges or squats are intensified greatly using this unstable surface. I would love though to incorporate cardio on it and would love it even better if Cathe's workouts would be adaptable.

Maybe low impact step would be doable on the bosu. From what I remember, that one was done on the "smaller" step anyway.

I think that the BOsu is best for Bosu-designed workouts or for very simple choreo (like Kathy Smith's Step workout, or the original Step Reebok workouts). I think the choreo and speed of Cathe's workouts would be risky on the Bosu. You could, however, use it to stand on for some weight workouts (using lighter-than-usual weights).

Thanks Kathryn, I appreciate your advice. I think you are right, it might be a good stand in to use with weight training instead of cardio.
