Cathe why no pushups in Meso 2 & 3?

I'll have to find a way to work the pushups in. I'm currently working on the 100 pushup challenge to get to a level where I can do the large number of pushups required by STS. I know that my pushup strength seems to decrease over time if I dont do them, so i want to keep up the habit. Even if its only doing the same number a few days a week.

I do like the warm up idea. That might be a good way for me to work my way to the floor and off my bench tower.
 
NO PUSHUPS???????????????????????????? i love 'em already and i haven't even started them yet. i HATE pushups, they are sooooo hard for me. am probably gonna start meso 2 tomorrow.

however, i do have a question. the cardio workouts for this month, for ex. xtrain kickbox, has biceps work in it. do we skip all the added weight work or add it in? like we need extra weight work on top of STS!! LOL.

You skip the weight work in CTX Kickbox. Cathe's rotation says 'kickbox only'. By the way, there are pushups in the last Chest/Shoulders/Triceps workout of Meso 2, but only 30 reps, plus one set to failure.
 
I do not miss the pushup although they are a good upper body exercise. The chest, shoulder and triceps exercises in meso two have keep me on my toes!
 
thanks for answering my question jbliff. for some reason i didn't see the cardio only thing.
and now i know why there are no pushups, cuz we would break our nose after all those drop sets. :) i would anyway.
