Cathe, what will you doT-giving?

I was just wondering if you will indulge on T-giving? Will you eat pumpkin pie, stuffing, mashed potatos, etc.? Do you try and limit yourself, or do will you not worry about calories this day? What are some of your favorite foods? Hope you have a great T-giving. Any tips you may have around the holidays would be great. Thanks.

Hi Amanda! MMMMM, yes absolutely I will indulge. I usually only take a small sample of everything on the table, but no matter how you slice it (no pun intended) this still easily turns into three plate fulls. I love cherry pie and will probably have pumpkin pie too. I'm not wild about the other pies though.

I don't worry too much about the calories because when you only indulge like this once in a while an active lifestyle usually takes care of the problem.

Some of my favorite T-day foods are my grandmom's candied sweet potatoes, creamed peas and carrots, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and biscuits. Oh yes, I love Ocean Spray cranberry sauce jellied right from the can. Sweet yet tart and I just stick that spoon right in the can and finish it right up. Talk about HIGH CALORIES...:eek: :9

I eat turkey pretty regularly as is so that isn't really a holiday favorite.

This years holiday tip is to simply enjoy yourself and pop me in your player when you're ready to take care of the damage:)

This is one of the (many!) reasons that we love you, Cathe. You are extremely fit and healthy, but your attitude toward life is equally healthy. Thank you.
