;) Hi Cathe! I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new "Body Blast" series! Do you prefer one type of workout to another? I find that circuit training is a great overall workout with great variety! I wondered if you were partial to the step/cardio workouts being this is what you started out with or are you more into weight-training or both!:p How do you decide what you are going to do in a day? Do you do both or alternate between cardio and weights! I also like the concept of the cardio & weights workouts! Thanks!;-)

Hi Lisa! I like it all. I may go through moods where I prefer one type over the other but overall, I enjoy the variety they all bring :) As far as what I am going to do in a given day, I don't really have much choice on my teaching days, but on the days I do not teach I do whatever I feel needs it. And if I feel good and balanced then I enjoy the day off. Take Care!

:D Thanks for replying Cathe! I guess why I ask is because I am trying to find as you say "the true magic" to maximize muscle growth and maintain weight. This week I have been on a rotation of 2 days in a row S&H or PS and then on the third day cardio, so actually 4 days weights (alternating body parts) and 2 days cardio.:* What do you think of this logic?;)

I'm with you, Intensitylisa.....

I am desparately trying to find out which variations/rotations work and what doesn't work on my body to lose this extra few pounds! It sure gets frustrating trying to find what works. I love them all, but cardio is by far my favorite.

Cheers, Marcia :)

RE: not Cathehere....

I'm no expert here, but in the past I recall some discussion about how individual results can be. Keep experimentating with rottions to see what works best for your body.
I did very well with the IS. and with my own rotation for one body part per day. Other times I have done well with Power hour and CK on alternating days. You just have to keep tweaking rotations to see how they affect your progress. Of , course eating healthy is important too. But, that can vary too. Some people do better with more protein and some do better with slightly more carbs. Either way keep your fats healthy and drink you water!
Good luck

Hey Judy!

Hope you don't mind...if you want to get rid of that lil' box next to your weight-lifting smiley, go to your profile and scroll down to your signature and remove the first set of brackets and the letters: i m g at the beginning of your smiley link. Be sure to remove only the first set of brackets, the ones before and after those letters. Hope this makes sense? http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/confused2.gif[/img]
