Cathe weight recommendations for men

Hi Cathe. I've been a huge fan a follower. My husband has started to show interest in your workouts. He is a runner and a surfer but does not usually lift weights. My question is should he be using heavier weights than the weight that you recommend on your DVD's? I'm assuming that men can take more weight at least it's what I've noticed on other workout videos. Thanks.
 
Definitely not Cathe here, but I think that your husband needs to experiment with what weights work for him. I know that in several of her workouts, Cathe recommends using a notebook to track what weight works for what exercise.

To answer your original question, though, it would probably be a good guide to start with what Cathe uses, or a few lbs less, and go from there.
