Cathe...S & H advice

Cathlete
Hi Cathe,
I found out about your videos at the end of January and have purchased MIC, MIS, I-Max, Body Max, Power Hour, Cardio Kicks, and Circuit Max. I have been doing the following rotation:

Monday: MIC
Tuesday: MIS
Wednesday: I-Max or Cardio Kicks
Thursday: MIS
Friday: MIC
Saturday: either Body Max, Power Hour, or Circuit Max
Sunday: rest

Prior to your videos, I exercised regularily with Firm, TaeBo, and running so my weight training was limited. Your workouts are far superior and in just a month, I have felt an increase in my fitness level. My question is: Should I continue with this type of rotation until I reach a plateau or should I incorporate
in S & H? I really want to gain strength and achieve a strong looking CUT body. I use dumbells ranging from 8 - 15 lbs and a barbell at 25-40 lbs depending on which body part is being worked. My only concern with S & H is that it might cut into my cardio time which I like to get in at least 4 days/week. Please let me know what you think. My birthday (#41) is tomorrow and I want to treat myself to something for all my hard work. So maybe S & H would make a great gift! ;-)

Hi JJ! Nice to meet you!

If you are still gaining great results from your current strength rotation than your muscles are being challenged enough to bring you great strength results. (Side Note: While strength training attributes to a cut look, the really cut look also has a lot to do with your genetics and your attention to a clean and healthy diet.)

But if your results are slowing down a bit then I would suggest changing your rotation. If you want to fit S&H in and keep your regular cardio workouts than you can try to do the following.

Monday: MIC

Tuesday: S&H Chest and Back but also add on the SHOULDER portion from the legs and shoulder tape(have the SHOULDER portion cued up and ready to go).

Wednesday: I-Max or Cardio Kicks

Thursday: S&H Triceps and Biceps but also add on the LEG portion of the S&H leg and shoulder tape(have the LEG portion cued up and ready to go).

Friday: MIC

Saturday: either Body Max, Power Hour, or Circuit Max

Sunday: rest

Good Luck!

Thank you!

Thank you Cathe. Knowing how awesome your workouts are, I went ahead and ordered S & H anyway so I have it when I feel my current rotation needs a change. Also, thanks for showing me how to rotate S & H into my program. I will continue eating healthy and clean and even if I don't have the genetics to get real "cut", I'll be happy knowing I'm still strong and healthy inside and out. :D JJ
