Cathe REQUEST Pretty Please with Sugar on Top!

DH and I will be starting our second round of STS on June 15th after a month break. We loved your STS and Cardio 3.5 rotation so much, we are requesting another. If you could find the time, could you create another with different cardio? PRETTY PLEASE! We have NEVER been able to follow any rotation until this one and we value your input. TIA! :D
 
THAT IS exactly what i was thinking today, melissa. that would be so cool to have another one, huh? i have 2 workouts left and gonna take at least the rest of may off of STS. are ya'll redoing your 1 rm's? and di dya'll get the part in meso 3 about the 9 reps thing. i don't know if i did that right. i am thinking about doing the 1 rm's in accordance w/that, so that i am definitely lifting heavy enough in meso 3. i was also thinking about redoing meso 3 and then doing the whole rotaiton again. i so loved meso 3.

Hey there! We are going to take a month off and do Cathe's April09 rotation and then return to STS for another 3.5 mth rotation. As for the 1RMs, we haven't decided. I think I want to go back and enter the results for all of our workouts and go from there. I haven't been paying attention to that part of the new version of the workout manager and I am hoping that we will NOT need to redo the 1RMs. :)
 
i'm with ya , squidlet! maybe we should make one up among ourselves. whadda ya think? and i was also wondering about doing meso 1 again. do you think it is necessary? i read somewhere cathe said that meso 2 & 3 were the way she normally trains. since we have increased in strength, maybe starting w/M2 would be ok. let me know.

Gosh, I am terrible at making a rotation. :) I have tried and failed many times. I don't think I am alone in that either. Look how popular the FitnessFreak rotations are!
As for Meso 1...yeah, DH and I will be doing it again. I don't know if Cathe recommends skipping M1 or not. I can't remember. We are primarily doing it because we have noticed that although our strength gains are quite impressive, we have lost some endurance when it comes to multiple reps (ie crazy eight work for biceps). Plus we miss the pushups! :)

YOU MISS THE PUSHUPS?????!!! i hate pushups, but, i will say, i can do a set on my toes now after STS. never did that before.

is that a german shepherd puppy in the pic? i've had them all my life and mine right now is 12. they are THE best dogs in the world. i'm gonna be very sad when i lose caspian. he's the best one i've ever had.

well, maybe cathe will answer us. i know she must be so busy. i kinda followed the cardio STS rotation that cathe made. but, i was so exhausted at time that i just could not do all the cardio. so, i have some excess around my middle that i need to get rid of. so, i'm gonna concentrate on cardio til i start STS again. have you looked at the undulating rotation? would STS be as effective, do you think, doing it like this? i'm not sure how i want to do it. undulating or regular.

I guess we miss the pushups because they are so hard! :)

The pic is my GSD puppy Zeus. He is now a year and my female is 2 years. We love them dearly. What a cute name for a doggie...Caspian! :)

I am sure she is EXTREMELY busy and I pray she will answer. If not, not biggie, we can go with the existing cardio STS mix. :) Yes, we have looked at the undulating. We have decided to stick with what worked for us, the original rotation. We figure why buck a good thing. :) Have a good Monday!

i kinda agree with ya'll. i like the results, especially in my upper body that i got from STS. if i could just stop eating so much bad stuff, i might lose this extra roll around my middle.

i just don't know if i want to do meso 1 again. i absolutely HATE pushups. and i really want to concentrate on the strength. oh well, i'll see.

it would be fun to have someone to check in and compare with.

as far as a rotation, we can use the one cathe already made and just change the cardio workouts. i found that i cannot go as intensely on cardio while i'm doing STS. i get waayyy to tired. so, i improvised some anyway. some of the ones cathe had were just too hard after and STS day. i don't do all cathe, my old body can't take it. i also substitute the firm and tracie long workouts.

but, i have gotten stronger. i just did the entire LIC workout and i can still breath. LOL!

Yes. We can do a checkin. I downloaded the same ole STS and Cardio 3.5 rotation into the workout blender. I am pretty much bettin' that Cathe will not have time to update the cardio with new. I would LOVE to do a check in. We will have to think of a groovy title now....

That is hilarious! Look forward to working out with you starting June 15th. Right now DH and I are in the middle of Cathe's April 09 rotation and WOW, we are feeling it! :)
