Cathe - Question on Side Lifted Adominals

Hi Cathe!

First, I wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying the Intensity Series! It's AWESOME!

Second, I have a question.....you know the exercise where you are lying on your side and you lift up, holding yourself up on your elbow and side of the bottom foot? I can't begin to do it....even if I put one foot in front of the other to make a stronger base. What I am able to do is bend the knee of the top leg and put my foot flat on the ground to help boost me up....is this at all effective? Even so, I can only do a few reps, but I'm trying to get a starting point.

Any advice or form pointers would be appreciated! :)

Hi Jez! It might be better to try this instead. Keep the top leg straight and bend the bottom leg while doing the exercise. As you get better and stronger, gradually work your bottom leg to a straight leg position. Good Luck!

P.S. Do you have any idea how much we are enjoying your new series?!?!? I did IMAX2 for the first time tonight. There were several moves I had to modify, but I felt thoroughly worked out afterwards...excellent workout! :eek:
