Hi Cathe!!
I was just browsing the site & took a look at you pregnancy photos. In the words that you wrote you commented on yor belly still being loose& overstretched. (my son is 11 ) & my belly is still that way! How can I get this to tighten?/ How many crunches do you do daily??? Help :-(
PS: I got my new DVD's & I LOVE them. !!!!

Hi April! A lot of factors in addition to exercise play a role in just how firm you are going to get your belly skin. For example, your skin's texture(all genetics there), how much weight you gained, if you had twins/triplets/etc., how you delivered,etc.

After all this has been determined, then diet and exercise are critical. Drink a lot of water, eat well balanced meals, and do a variety of weight and cardio work.

I'm finding that for me, interval workouts one to two times per week (or every 7 to 10 days), plus a good variety of challenging core and abdominal exercises are doing the trick. Other things that help me are lots of cardio cross training and heavy weight training. Heavier weights cause me to contract my core region much harder to support the weight load and therefore triggers an additional abdominal response.

Unfortunately there is no easy solution for the loose skin. Depending on the above factors, the skin can range from just about going back to pre-pregnancy state to always being a trouble spot. But one thing is for sure, diet and exercise will improve any situation if your really work hard at it.
