Cathe: Question about S&H, Chest & Back

When I do this workout I do the push ups and planks sections first because I can't get through them after all the heavy lifting. Am I making the workout less effective by doing this?
 
I doubt it. And you know, the push ups are optional anyway, as Cathe says! I never do the push ups, my arms are fried after the regular weights work. But I do the planks section.

You can keep them at the start of the workout or add them on to the end of a cardio workout later in the week. It makes no difference, they'll still be effective whenever you do them.

Just a suggestion - if you wanted to work more on your pushup strength, you could substitute the first exercise (flat dumbell presses) for pushups.
