Cathe question about cardio

Hi Cathe, can you tell me what you mean when you say steady state cardio. I always thought that you should work to the point of exhaustion, and that if a tape didn't exhaust you, you move to another tape that's more challenging. (BTW, I have not had to move from any of your cardio tapes! LOL!) Also if I'm doing intervals for just cardio (ex. running) about how long should the intervals be. (How long should I run, than walk, than start running again?) Thanks so much Cathe!

"Steady state cardio" is cardio with no intervals. The intensity remains about the same throughout the workout.
