Cathe- PUB/PLB-- endurance or strength workout?

Hi Cathe--

I am in the middle of using your Intensity Series in a rotation and am really enjoying it.

I wanted to find out from you if you consider the PUB/PLB to be more endurance or more strength based? How do you compare it to the PS and S and H series as far as strength gains?

My goal is maximum muscle gains. I have been using S and H as the foundation of my regimen, and then switch to your endurance based workouts occasionally for the "body shock" factor. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make the Pyramid workouts most effective for me?

Thank you in advance for you advice!

Lynn

Two exercises supersetted for each body part. 5 sets each of 12, 10, 8, 10 and 12. That's 52 reps each exercise 104 per body part, except for shoulders which have a giant set of three exercises same rep counts--that comes up to 156 for shoulders.

No "claiming" about it :)

I would be interested in learning whether PUB/PLB is considered an endurance or strength workout. I have several strength workouts and am looking to purchase an endurance workout.

As is, I would think it's more of an endurance workout. I usually increase the rests between sets so I can use heavier weights, to make it more of a strength workout.
