Cathe - Hi, I know it is impossible to determine what's going on with someone from only one email, but I was hoping to draw on your experience and expertise!
Here's a little bit of background information on me: I am 34, and 5 foot 4. Back in June 2005 I weighed 168 lbs. and went on a healthy eating and exercise program (primarily on my own at home) using your FitTV workouts. By the end of August 2005 I had dropped to 143 lbs. Experienced some bumps in the road, stopped working out and was back up at 160 lbs. by 1/1/2006.
Since then, I have been getting your DVDs and working out five or six days a week (usually late at night when my 4-yo daughter goes to bed) and eating pretty well. This basically kept me in the 140 - 145 lbs. range all the way through 2006.
January 2007 - I was working out and eating well and not getting anywhere, so I joined a gym on January 16th. Since then I have been going three, four or five days a week and doing a combination of strength training and cardio (medium resistance ski or eplitical for minimum 40 minutes at a time).
Here's the thing ... I still weigh and measure the SAME today as I did on January 13th. I know its only been three weeks, but I figured SOMETHING would change, because I have been really good about my diet. I know I am stronger, and my clothes feel looser, but I don't get it ... hopefully its my body composition changing! (i.e. less % of body fat).
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
