I have worked up to doing planks on my toes, not on my knees, & pushups on my toes. But it's only a minute before my wrists hurt too much to continue. Is this normal & will it start going away after awhile? Am I just needing to build up more strength in my wrists? Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I had that problem until I started using either handlebars or dumbbells while doing them. These help keep your wrists straight and it really takes the pressure off of them.
