Wow...the MyFitnessPal site is AMAZING. I've never stuck with an online food diary because I always have to enter everything (they never have my protein powder, or my hot cereal, or SOMETHING), but they've really got a great database! Thanks Jess!

I just checked myfitnesspal.com (thanks for recommending, Jess!) and I had a question: did anyone else find that their recommendation for the daily calorie intake was really low? I put in my stats and said that my goal was to lose 1 pound a week (5 pounds total) and inputed my weekly exercise totals, and considering the fact that I'm training for a marathon right now, the weekly totals are HIGH, but it told me my daily intake should be 1200! Wow, I don't think I could subsist on that, let alone fuel properly for my marathon training.
Did I do something wrong?
LOL Jess! Yes, even when I'm getting enough calories, I STILL feeling like gnawing my arm off after a particularly long run.
I'm training for the Nike Women's Marathon, which is in 5 weeks, gulp!!
I haven't tried Cathe's, but I love http://www.myfitnesspal.com much better than sparkpeople. I've also used fitday but didn't like that one either. MFP is really easy to use and has a HUGE database of foods!!
