cathe mixing meso's ?

Hi Cathe, I am almost done with the 3 month STS Program. I just love it. Thank You so much for getting this program out to the public. I want to do another 3 month rotation but was wondering if it is ok to mix up the meso's? For example can I do Disc 1,2,3 for week 1 and then Disc 13, 14, 15 for week 2 and then Disc 25, 37, 27 for week 3 ? I would continue this pattern for the 3 months. I was also wondering if I could mix in some of your other workouts...for example..STS Disc 1,2,3 for week 1 then the opposite SH Series for week 2...the STS Disc 13,14,14 for week 3 and 4-Day Series for week 4 etc... I appreciate any input you may have. Thank You again for such a great program...Peggy
 
Peggy, I was thinking about doing the exact same thing. It's sort of like undulating periodization. If you do it, please post your rotation and results. I'm only on week 4 of Meso 2 so it'll be a while before I can try, but I'd love to know how it goes.

I am now finishing week three of Meso 3. I am planning on doing STS again after I complete week four, but this time as an undulating program. I am also considering changing some of the exercises For example-in Meso three I will only do dead lifts in the leg workout and eliminate them in the chest/back workout. I will probably add lat pulldowns in place of the dead lifts. I am still working out what other exercises changes I will make in my next rotation of STS.

Right now my plans are to do;

week one -- meso one -week one
week two--meso two -week one
week three- meso three -week one
week four - meso one -week two
week five meso two -week two
week six- meso three-week two

and then continue this pattern.

Any other suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated
 
Oh this is interesting. I think there are so many ways these workouts can be mixed and matched! It should prevent boredom!

It would be very helpful to hear from Cathe about different rotations using STS. I thought this rotation was interesting also and was thinking about trying it after I finish Meso 3. Maybe when we finish this rotation that Cathe is participating in she will post other ideas.

IMO, that sounds like a good plan.
As for weights, I'd just wing it, based on what you have learned you can do in the STS workouts.
