Cathe, just wondering...

Hello there Cathe, I am just wondering if you could give me a "sample" menu of what you eat on your clean days? I often wonder if my clean eating is truly clean enough?! I try to avoid salty/starchy foods but have also heard to stay away from dairy! I love yogurt and cottage cheese and have read where I shouldn't be eating it( Oxygen Magazine)! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much - Susan:)

btw, your question about eating dairy, it has been proven that dairy actually aids in the body's natural regulatory system for burning fat. 3 servings of dairy daily is recommended. I ususally eat low fat yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, and skim milk. I don't know why Oxygen would state that in their mag. I am subscribed to Consumer Reports On Health. The info is very interesting and factual.

Take care! ;)

I read it in Robetr Kennedys Editorial. He stated that to eat clean one must abstain from that" yogurt and cottage cheese"... Susan

IMHO... no...... but shakes.. depending on the ingredients.. are closer than bars...

i donn't eat/drink either of them.. cuz i get enough calories eating food... a shake would just be an extra 200-300 calories *gasp*.. i get plenty of protein in chicken, fish, eggs, kashi, etc!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!
