Hi Lisa! I'm so glad that you are alright. Didn't you just move to Vero Beach? I saw it mentioned in the news constantly. Thank goodness you and your family are safe.
My sister lives in Melbourne Beach and had to evacuate. They came to our house for a few days waiting for the hurricane to pass. I am still waiting to hear what the extent of the damage was to their home.

Yes Cathe, we are in Vero Beach and we evacuated to jerry's brother's in Tampa, where of course the storm followed us, but not nearly as severe. We took our pugs, cat and hamster with us as well. We are without power (electric) and believe me it is a pain with the hot weather, wash, etc. There is a real shortage of ice, gas, stores and restaurants open. Our apartment was spared but you would not believe the trees, power lines mobile homes street signs that are damaged, unbelievable! Hope your sister's house made out alright! I heard Melbourne got hit pretty hard also! Thanks!
