Hi Cathe! I did one of the Body Max 2 premixes on Saturday night. I think it's called Cardio & Weights. And my biceps are still really sore.

I was going to do Drill Max Cardio & All Upper Body tonight. I was thinking about just using light weights for biceps and see how it feels. Is it safe to work out a body part when it's still sore even though 48 hours has past?

Thanks, Melissa

P.S. Butts & Gutts really kicked my butt last night. I could feel the pain even before I got out of bed this morning! Gotta love it!!!!

Hi Melissa! Yes, you are fine working it after 48 hours. Do just what you said..."using light weights for biceps and see how it feels". Using light weight will help work the soreness through your system.

Usually the first time you do a new workout, you will be the sorest. After that you will most likely get half as sore (unless you don't do it again for a very long time), and sometimes a few workouts later, are not sore at all (but don't worry, it still working).

When I am my sorest from an initial workout, I like to put two to three full days bewteen my workouts to let the muscles get some good recovery under their belt. If I am still stiff after that (sometimes my initial soreness will last up to four days) I use light weights after day three. Then once I am fully healed I hit it really hard again.

Good Luck!
