Cathe-How are you doing? What did the doc say??

Cathlete
We are curious as to how you are doing. Can you please let us know. I hope everything is ok and the doctor has good news for you. Take care of yourself!! :)

I would like to know this too, since it will give me an indication to cancel this pre-sale or not.

I have hung in there, but the reality is that I do not want Cathe doing these workouts (high impact) if she is not 100% well. But, realistically, this announcement was in September and it is March, with no indication of when these DVD's will be filmed or any indication when the other set (previously announced) will even be made.

I just want an answer too, so I can make my decision. If it will take longer, I will wait until the DVD's are made (whenever that may be) and order after the fact.

Besides, we do not know if Cathe can even continue in this high-impact manner. It is just not worth risking your health to continue to jump higher. But, JMHO.

Let us know soon....:)

Hi Sabrina! Thanks so much for your well wishes. I went to a new doctor last Friday for a second opinion and he suggested getting a Gadolinium MRI arthrogram verses a standard MRI to rule out soft tissue damage or some other problem that perhaps my first standard MRI did not pick up. I am scheduled to have that this Friday afternoon.

Unfortunately I will not have any more information until the results of this test come back and the doctor has reviewed them. They are predicting that the results will be back from the radiology lab by Tuesday (the earliest) or Thursday (the latest of next week). The doc's office is being kind enough to let me schedule an appointment for both of these days due to my "pressing the issue" shall we say.

While this is definitely a waiting game, I have to admit that all the doctors, staff assistants, and schedulers in all of these places I have been calling are being very cooperative regarding my time sensitive situation.

I have been thanking them up and down just as I have all of you for your patience. I will definitely post an update when I have the results.

Thank you all!
Cathe

I hope all goes well. I've been praying for your speedy and full recovery.

Just curious, have you got to do anything fun since you've been laid up? And are you in pain, besides mental anguish;)?

Take care,

Here's hoping the lab results will be good news for you--that all it's going to need is rest and rehab, nothing permanent or needing surgery.

I know you're hearing it a lot, but PLEASE don't fret about the taping, we want you 100% well! I for one will not be asking for a refund of my pre-order, delays happen. That's the "clean" way of putting it. ;-)

Thank you for the update! I cannot even imagine any other instructor keeping us informed as you have. I am thankful to have found such an awesome instructor Cathe and will wait as long as needed!

Take care and sending continuous anti-anxious vibes your way.

Mary

Agree with Mary and Nadine and hope that everything goes well for you with the MRIs and curing the problem!

I can wait for the workouts to come out.

Take care,

Sheila

I'm with Nadine. I won't ask for a refund from my preorder, unless you decide not to tape at all, and then you initiate the refund from your end. I have plenty of workouts to keep me busy in the meantime. I know what it's like to be injured (or in my case, ill) and not being able to workout, and it's something that's beyond your control. You couldn't have done anything different to prevent it. It happens.

Of the time I have available to workout, I reach for your workouts a great majority of the time. It's because of doing your workouts most of the time that I can keep up with other companies' workouts. In fact, in those other workouts, I have to "step it up" and add higher impact because their version of cardio just doesn't get my heartrate up like yours does (I also have to use heavier weights to feel like I've gotten a decent workout). If it weren't for you, I'd probably weigh 200 lbs. I'll admit I don't eat as cleanly as I should. :p

I hope that you get a good report from the doctor(s) after the MRI is read!! I hope that your knee gets well soon!!

Lisa

Thanks for letting us know how you are doing! We really appreciate it! Keep in mind, the mass majority of us could care less about the taping of these workouts. Everyone here cares about you and we just want you better! I hope the results come back with the best possible out come!

Since I mentioned the taping of the workouts...I was just thinking that I would wait 2 years for them to come out and not a minute longer...then I'd want my $$$ back. Then it quickly hit me...I'm so full of crap...I'll wait (patiently) forever...I don't want my $$$ back!

I do want to "second" that the attention we get from you is remarkable! You have so many charecteristics that set you so far above the rest and the ability to interact with you is one of them!

Rest and get better!

Yeah - what they said. Please give your injury all the care that it needs. Take care of YOU - you've already more than taken care of us! Sending (((((((((((good vibes and healing thoughts))))))))))) your way.

Lorrie

Cathe,

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers for good results on your labs.

Now I didn't even know there were different kinds of MRI's. Hmm, maybe I should be doing some "pressing" of my own.;-) I was just told I may have a tear in the soft tissue in my foot. :-( This is no fun. I can only imagine the pressure you must be feeling with the filming deadline.

Good luck!

Dallas

Keep us informed as we are all worried about you! I hope the doc has some news for you soon. It is so hard to wait. Good luck with the MRI on Friday.

That is nice that the Doc's office let you schedule an appointment for both Tuesday and Thursday. Sounds like you have a wonderful doctor and the staff sounds great too.

We just want you well and in tip top shape. The vid's can wait.

Take care and take it easy!!!

Cathe-

I really love your workouts and you are so inspiring! I will keep you in my prayers and hope the Doc's have an answer for you soon. I know it has to be frustrating for you, but as you say in some of your workouts, "You're going to make it!"

Take care,

Stacy:)

Cathe,

I don't post too often on the boards but I wanted to this time. I sure this whole thing has been very exasperating for you. This is impairing your ability to do your job. I sit in front of a PC all day and I think it would be the same for me if I couldn't type. Things need to get done and you can't.

At any rate, the most important thing is that you get yourself back to 100%. I know the time delays with filming are a problem but it pales in comparison to your health. People will understand even if they vent now and again. I wouldn't give it too much thought.

Take care.
