Cathe, fat burning question . . .

Hi, Cathe,

I was hoping you could help me out with this question. I would like to do a cardio rotation this season where I'm focused on fat burning. I would like to keep my heart rate in the 60-70% range, so I was wondering if any of your workouts were built for this type of workout - OR - is there a way to modify any of your workouts to help me get in that range???

Any suggestions that you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Chrissy! Everyone responds to exercise differently so if you would truly like to stay in this range, you can check your exercise output during your workouts in two ways. 1) Buy a heart rate monitor and 2) is to use a perceived exertion check where you exercise to an intensity level that allows you to say about two to 5 word sentences while working out).
