Cathe DVD Question

Cathlete
I would like to purchase the step and dvd package Cathe offers on her site but am not sure if I should purchase the beginner package or advanced. I have been doing the firm workouts for a while and would probably classify myself as an intermediate. I do not want to purchase the beginner workouts and be disappointed because they are not strenuous enough. I have watched the clips from all the DVDs listed with the two packages and the beginner DVDs included in the package excluding low max seem pretty simple. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When I started with Cathe I started with Basic Step & Body Fusion then onto Low Impact Step. While I appreciated how the steps were broken down so I could learn her style I couldn't wait to move on. (I was also doing The Firm before I "found" Cathe.) For that reason I would say get the advanced. You will catch on to her pretty quickly since she cues so well. And before you know it you will own more Cathe DVDs than you intended just because you love them so much!!HTH.

I agree. Get the advanced package. You can work your way up to advanced, where if they are not challenging enough it will have been a waste of $$.

I agree with the others here. Get the advanced package. Even if it seems challenging at first, you will quickly adapt.

Sometimes I return to my Firm classics and they kick my butt, esp. Volume 2. I remember the got too easy, but now if I change and use them occasionally, they wear me out.

If you have been doing the Firm workouts and do them well, I would go with Low Max. Low Max is not really easy, but I think it is "doable" for a person used to the Firm.

I think the Basic Step and Body Fusion would be too "easy" for you.

Mega Step Blast (oop) is/was a good one to use to introduce yourself to Cathe's style. It is an all cardio step workout and is one of my all time favs.

Get the advanced. I started with Basic Step and Low Impact Step, and after 2 weeks I am already looking for more a more challenging w/o.
