Cathe do you speak fluent German?

I was reading one of the other posts that you responded to and am just curious. I am of German heritage, but American-born, and never learned to speak the language. Wish I would have. My, but you have so many talents!!!

Hi Lynne! Yes, I do speak fluent German. I was actually raised speaking German and when I started school needed to learn English fast. The only difficult situation I face is that I grew up speaking a German dialect which is a bit different from proper German, but nonetheless, I still can fully communicate (as long as we're not talking politics or something )

Cathe did you live in Germany up to school age or here in the states and your parents spoke German all the time is why you did?
