Cathe costing me a lot of $$

But I love it!!

Not only for the workouts, which I now almost have all of them, receiving my new ones today - but in clothes! It's soooooooo much more fun jean shopping now (hooked on Lucky's and the Buckle Store now) because of how these workouts have transformed me outside.

I also quit smoking 3 months ago and workouts only got better. Didn't gain any weight, thanks to Cathe and adding extra jumping jacks, etc. so also internally I am feeling really great. I can carry a lot more - stronger and who cares if I need to park further away, I won't get winded!!!

Love it!!!! Money's not everything, right? :) :)

Tygra - I know how you feel. I spent a ton of money on my Cathe videos over the last year but they were definitely worth it. I feel better and look better. The only thing is now I have to buy new clothes and/or get my old ones taken in. I had gone from a size 10 to a size 6 over the past year. I just bought a size 6 pants only a couple of months ago and now they're getting big too. Although I do fit into a lot of my old jeans so at least that's not costing me anything.

Tygra, congrats on quitting smoking! How did you do it? I am a long time smoker who has tried to quit several times with no success. Part of my problem is I am so afraid of the weight gain(i know dumb reason) I have just started working out again after a long long time, it is encouraging to hear you have not gained weight!

Hi Vanessa,
It's a very hard thing to do like you know - and about 80% of the people at my work smoke -crazy, I know in today's world. But no one in my family does. I switched from Taebo and The Firm to Cathe and hated that I'd get so winded. I hated that my nieces and nephews would see me smoke. I would sometimes wheeze at night. But then I'd work out, it was silly. I smoked for about 16 years. So one day I just said forget it. It was very hard and still can be at times.....someone on this forum a while back said that when they get the urge just wait because it'll go away whether you smoke or don't and I repeated that (can't remember who said it, but thanks!) to myself. Deep breaths and the fact that I loved Cathe's workouts and wanted to actually do Imax 3 without stopping. I did bump up my workouts a bit, following parts of the Aug 05 Bootcamp rotation and fat loss, I do cardio many times per week and then strength. Adding 200 jumping jacks here and there. I have a taste for sweets I never really had before, but I just sneak a few and I'm okay. I like Lean Cuisines and salads for lunch.

I wanted to instantly feel better the day I quit to help me through it, but it took a little while. I can't describe to you how great I feel daily (my voice doesn't crack much, breathing, etc.) and how great the workouts are. It's a daily commitment, and before you know it, you don't think about it.

I hope I can continue to not smoke! I have to be strong. I hope I helped a little. YOu can do it and even if you gain some weight, it'll come off in a while, but you will still be healthier than a smoker.

Good luck and YOU CAN DO IT!!!:) :)

She's sooo worth all the $$$! I'm very proud of you for quitting. Keep at it! Every day think about how far you've come. You've made a huge accomplishment.
