Thank You!!!
Thank y’all for celebrating with me and sharing your success. It always inspires me to read about people’s transformations and progress. Thanks for all the encouragement.
Amy, my secret is that I am really fat! I do not know what you weigh, but most people who post here are lightweights. It is not generally possible to drop a lot of weight in a month when you are relatively close to your goal. I also had a run-in with pumpkin cheesecake and mashed potatoes during the holidays. Eating clean again in January shocked my body. You are doing great. Keep it up!
Robin, with all the stress you have experienced, I am amazed that you are maintaining. That is something to celebrate! I am keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Lorrie, keeping the pounds at bay during the holidays is no small feat. I am impressed! I am also in awe of anyone who can eat 1,200 calories a day and exercise too. Great job! Is maintenance easier or harder for you than losing the weight?
Angela, I posted my rotation and menus in another thread:

Marcy, thank you and congratulations to you. Great results!
Sandra, I noticed in the mirror last week that my clothes were starting to look baggy. My workout clothes are getting big on me too. The good news is that when I find clothes on sale that I love, I buy the outfits in several sizes. I am prepared! It is time to take some clothes to the consignment shop!
Shelley, did you notice that I was able to express myself in less than 1,000 words. LOL!
6Swans4me, I am inspired by your results. Wow! That is very impressive for someone who started at 122 pounds because it is harder to lose weight when you weigh less. Welcome to Cathe’s forums by the way!
Amy, thank you. I love Cathe’s inspirational quotes. She is so cute!
Charlene, I have special markers for my calendar too. I also use color coding dots for different types of workouts. Blue is for cardio, red is for weight training, green is for stretching, and yellow is for abs and core. This makes my calendar pretty and allows me to see at a glance that my rotation is balanced and complete.
Michele, I love you. See the link I shared with Angela for my workouts and menus. I did see a package of pearled barley. Is that what you eat? Tell me about the texture. Is it similar to steel-cut oats or brown rice? The picture on the package looks like tapioca. It is shiny looking.
Jasper, great job! Those are amazing results!
Maggie, I am finding that my body can burn off a few extra calories. Clean eating is more critical for me. My body does not respond favorably to processed junk even if my portions are small. It is not just about calories in and out for me. What I eat seems to be much more important these days. I am planning to start a new thread next month and look forward to celebrating your success with you.
Sandra, I love your signature too. Great job with Drill Max.
Muffin Top, great results. That chest measurement also includes back fat, so it might not be as bad as it looks!
Sunny, it is so good to see you. I miss you checking in with the Violets.
Karen, your message blessed me. Thank you for posting. I love your signature too and look forward to walking down this freedom trail with you. Keep believing God.
Sally, kickboxing with weighted gloves helps my upper arms more than anything.
Blessings,
Heather B.
