Cathe Calendar Results for January!!!

I have a reputation for being wordy. I love words. I usually prefer words to numbers, but the numbers are looking good this month. I will let the numbers talk, so this post will be short and sweet. ;) When I received my Cathe calendar, I took “before” pictures and committed to get fit and shed the rest of this excess fat for good in 2007. I checked my progress this morning and recorded my January results on my calendar:

-16 pounds in January :7
-1" chest
-5" waist :7
-5" abdomen :7
-3" hips :7
-1" right thigh :7
-½" right calf
-½" right upper arm

Yes, I am loving my Cathe calendar! :7 It is very inspirational and is definitely motivating me to stick with my rotation! Cathe workouts done consistently + clean eating = amazing results. Does anyone else want to share your progress for January (weight loss or fitness gains)? I am off to a good start this year with a victorious January, and I am ready to kick some more pounds to the curb in February! Cathe is waiting for me with Cardio and Weights. :7

Yes, much congratulations!!! I was going to ask what your secret was, then I re-read the portion after the measurements. I still would like to know what your secret is as I have been clean eating consistantly+ Cathe workouts 6 days a week and I have only lost about 2 lbs for the whole month!!!

Congratulations, again!!! That reminds me, I need to flip my calendar!
 
I'm very impressed and inspired by you, Heather. Maybe with your post and February's page, I'll make my goals. Nothing changed from Jan to Feb for me, but I guess I'm glad nothing increased.
 
WHOA Heather - you go girl! Congratulations on your spectacular results so far! Isn't cool to get to the end of the month and see those stickers on there? I love it!

I finally made it to my goal weight! Of course sticking to my diet during the holidays and having this be my first year ever where my New Year's resolution was not to lose 20 pounds helped a lot! LOL.

Love having those calendar pics visible as a good reminder!

I also checked my progress this morning. I did Cathe's January rotation. My results are:

-1.6 pounds
-1" chest
-1" waist
-.5" hips
-.5" right thigh
-.5" left thigh
biceps stayed the same.
Body fat went from 27.9% to 23.7%.

I also love my Cathe calendar. I will be taking my measurements every month. It's actually great to see lost inches. Sometimes lost inches are better than lost pounds.

Heather - Congratulations on your fitness gains. I just wanted to say I love your posts. They are so inspiring and thoughtful. Let's keep up the great work.

WOW!!! I'm VERY impressed with your results!! You usually only see numbers like that with someone who has just started their fitness journey. I know you've been at this a long time. Congratulations!!! Time to shop for some new clothes, I think :)

Those are amazing results! You should be very proud of all the hard work you did this past month!

Here's what I've kept track of:

Jan 1st weight = 122 pounds
Jan 31st weight = 114 pounds

I didn't take my measurements until Jan 15. Measurements taken last night indicate that I've lost 1" from the waist and 1/4" from my hips. My arms have gained 3/4" and my thighs and calves are the same. Oh! Most importantly, the appearance of cellulite is less pronounced. :)

I lead a very sedentary life for over a decade before starting Basic Step in Jan. I finally worked up to being able to finish it and Low Impact Step/Total Body Sculpting. My eating habits are about the same. I have noticed that my appetite has increased. I must check out Cathe's calendar now!
 
I'm so happy for you! Congratulations.
Don't you just love it when Cathe says "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of them, I'm proud of me." at the end of Imax 3? I always smile.
Keep on going to reach your goal. YOu are an inspiration.
 
OMG! How amazing!

I haven't calcualted any totals for myself yet, but it's awesome to see the stickers and the notes on all the days of the month -- I have a special pack of colored markers I use for the calendar :)
