Hi Carrie! I just saw your post in the <--thread! I was so pleasantly shocked! Congratulations on your progress!
Yes, I need to post a before pic. I found a good one in my DH's car the other day. I almost fainted when I saw it. It was when I was at 203 pounds.
Basically, I started with Denise Austin and exercised like 20 min 4 or 5 days a week. Then I did SLim in 6 and lost 20 pounds.
Then, I discovered Cathe. I really got into her WO's and continued to do well. I started to really get into the weight lifting for definition. Then, the most important thing--I changed my diet. Whole grain, whole wheat, stay away from most sugar, high fiber, high protein. I started dropping fat again just like that. I was amazed at the difference it made. I also had to make sure to eat enough for the intense WO's. I was on a plateau for months till I made that change. I still have a bit to go, but it is nice to look in the mirror and finally start to like what I see. I will try to post that before pic.
I must say, reading your post brought the biggest smile to my face! That unexpected recognition feels awesome! Thank you!!:+
