Carole, thank you again and Help!!

Well, I am pleased to say that the jeans that were too tight and then became smooth are now loose. Ha ha ha ha. Wheeeee!! All thanks to you!!
But, two days ago, a concrete slab fell on my foot from about three feet and ouch (boy, that hurt, and hurt and hurt) so I am at a loss with what to do with my lower body. Being a freestyle of the Carole mold follower, I am panicing. I know that someday the nasty bruise will go away and I won't be icing it over and over, but can you give me some advice on what to do in the meantime?

YEOW!!!! It depends if you can even put pressure on your foot like standing? I would say don't do any lower body work for a few days but ice. Then do mostly floor work so you are not putting pressure on the foot. If you can stand without pain then you could probably continue on with Freestyle...Hope this helps...:)...Carole
 
Thank you Carole, good idea, floor work. I honestly didn't think of that and it should keep me from going flabby so soon! I cannot put pressure on my foot yet and I sure am getting impatient lol!!
 
Sorry to hear about your foot, 'tallchick'! Sounds like it hurt!

BUT THANK YOU for also posting your THANK YOU to Carole and your results. Tomorrow's workout will finish my FIRST WEEK with Freestyle and I'm pumped up! LOVED this past week! I can't wait to see the results as you have!

Kate...You are very welcome and I do hope your foot gets better soon. I agree with Gayle in thanking you for posting your results too! That is great inspiration for all the Freestylers here!!

aaaaahhhhh. I hope this thing that has happened doesn't put me in a slump and cause me to buy that big bag of Hershey Kisses at Costco. But today I was able to do all the floorwork from GSLegs and I was able to do the regular squats, plie squats and deadlifts with lighter weights and my right foot laying on it's side. No lunges though and I love lunges (well, not love). I guess this is a good time to start really going for my "want to look like Carole" in the arms time. Perhaps this will get me in the right mind to really get those triceps and biceps where I want them to be. But life without cardio?????
I am going to go to the doctor if I am still swollen after a week. Hate going to the doctor, hate it.
But that said, yes, freestyle is the best. I am getting back to being 30 again (I am 45).
