Carole, just a couple more Freestyle questions please

1. Do you ever use heavy weights for your lower body workouts. For example, do you still use heavy for Slow and Heavy

2. Has your metabolism improved since you started Freestyle?

No. I don't use heavy weights anymore since switching to Freestyle. You could still use S&H though. Just cut back the weight amount to 70% of what you were doing, or better yet maybe cut down 50% so you avoid injury if you work the legs 6 times a week. As far as my metabolism I'm not sure. It never has been real speedy which is why I exercise! I have enjoyed the firmness and strength I have found in my legs though. Makes running feel great...:)...Carole

Like Tallchick, I really thanks for you sharing your knowlege in Freestyle with us.

I'm still in fat burning stage. I commit myself to this 6 days legs routine. However, I also want to rip off the fat from my upper body. Do you think 3 days upper body is enough for my goal? Do I also need to keep it light when I work in upper body? The reason I am asking is today I did GS timesaver CT, BSB, then HSTA lower body. I felt like I was running out of energy when I did HSTA. Will it affect the result when I am tired?

You are welcome too WantFit...:)...What I do is my Freestyle leg work first, before anything else. As I am working the hardest on that. I think when you work out tired your form suffers so the results could be slower. My upper body isn't quite as hard to define as my lower body. 3 days of upper ahould be fine for you. So far lifting a bit heavy has worked for my upper body. But I am trying a bit of Freestyle there too just to shake things up. I am doing 3 weeks of Freestyle on my triceps just to see what happens. Then I'll try biceps. I generally work my shoulders, tri's and bi's 3 times a week and my Back & Chest 2 times. Also a very clean diet will help speed things up...:)...Carole
