Laura, that's so sweet of you! I am really touched.

I decided not to do the x-rays. Spoke to a friend of mine who works for RESCUE, she had to put her labrador down a couple of weeks ago. She said she did the x-rays but she wouldn't do it again, it was pretty stressful for her dog.

She also said, "what's the point? You already eliminated everything else, so who is it going to help if you can see it in black and white that it has spread? You will just watch him and see if he gets worse, which is exactly what you will be doing if you don't get the x-rays done. No need to put Jake through the x-rays."

I think she made a really good point, so I will just keep a very close eye on him. He did really well the last couple of days, we had a party at our house and he was all excited. Some people were asking me if I had lost my mind, they thought there was not one sick bone in his body. He still has some good days and the Tramadol seems to be working, I just cut down on the dosis.

I took them to the dog park this morning and he was all excited to see the other dogs and I had to make him take rests and sure enough now he can barely walk again. Jake just doesn't know when to slow it down a little bit, he just has to go all the way. Those extreme ups and downs is what makes a decision so hard.

But thanks so much for asking, you are a sweetheart!!!

I will keep you posted.
