hi. i want to order this but please tell me if the moves are hard to learn. i hate dancy videos where it takes 3 weeks to catch on the moves. thanks. also, will this tape leave me drenched with sweat? that is what i am looking for!:)

This video sounds like it was made for you! The moves are much more athletic and powerful than dancy. And drenched in sweat desribes exactly how you will be by the end of the power drill section. Yowzers! Heather

thanks, heather. i appreciate the respond. i have heard so many great things about cathe and this will be my first tape. thanks for taking the time to respond:):)

Hi Karen,
CK is not what I would consider dancy at all, but it is a choreographed cardio-kickbox routine as opposed to straight drills-type of kickbox routine, if you know where I am coming from. Regarding space constraints, it's a bit of a space hog
so be prepared to modify.
Once you learn the routine, it is not at all hard to modify!! It's super fun, the music is great, and YES, you will sweat. It is a killer, but you will feel like a changed woman after this workout!
(in a good way!!) ;)

I'm in the minority, but I find Cardio Kicks too fast for rookie kickboxers. Which is usually me since I go months between kickboxing. Yes, you can modify, but I always question whether everyone knows how to modify. One has to be extra careful on carpet or your knees are going to be sore & it is a space hog.

I found that if I do a couple of rounds with Kathy Smith's kickboxing tape (Keith Cook is a great co-leader), that I do much better with Cardio Kicks. I absolutely love the Cardio Kicks drills which are at the end of the workout. Save some energy for those.

Sweat factor? You'll be dripping after the warm-up!
