Cardio Variety

I've noticed lately that most of my cardio workouts are either Cardio Coach on the treadmill or some type of kickboxing ranging from Turbo Jam and KPC to Powerstrike Millennium and boxing workouts. What I'm looking for is more variety in my cardio workouts. The problem is I really dislike dancey, highly choreographed workouts, and I only really use my step for more athletic/interval type workouts. I know I've put a lot of limits on what I like(that's probably why I have so many kickboxing workouts). I am just looking for something different. I don't mind step if it's not too dancey. I am at a high intermediate/low advanced level. Thanks.

Have you tried Mindy Mylrea? Her workouts have more athletic-type moves. They are not dancy at all and are considered to be intermediate/advanced. I use her Cardio Toolbox and Awesome Intervals regularly. Mindy is a bit hyper but if you can get past that she's actually pretty funny.

Also Mindy has some gliding videos and bosu videos. I've not tried them but they would be other alternative cardios that you could look into.

I second trying out Mindy Mylrea, I recently got her Interval Express on VHS dirt cheap and will definitely be purchasing more of her workouts. Intense step and hi/lo workout, not dancey. She is very athletic, my mouth was hanging open watching her do pushups on a med ball on her toes and making it look so darned easy......not so easy for mex( :)
