I wanted to know what type of cardio, how long, and how often you all do cardio for your best results? i know everyone is different but i wanted to see what you all were doing. Intervals, HITT, steady state, circuits, etc....

I do cardio 4 to 5 times per week.
Here what I do:

Sun- Total body weight training
Mon- cardio/intervals 1 hour
Tues- rest
Wed- circiut training/ upper body
Thur- cardio-kickboxing 1 hour
Fri- power yoga (light cardio)
Sat- step cardio

I hope this helps.

I like to do a variety of everything. It keeps me from being bored and keeps my body guessing what is coming next. I usually limit my cardio to an hour. I used to do more but it seems my body responds best if I keep my cardio to an hour.

I usually do cardio about 5 days a week. I like to mix it up. I'l do step, kick box, circuit training and my elliptical. I'll also mix up the intensity levels... I strength train one body part per day right now.

I mostly run, because I've found it's what keeps me the most lean. My rotation looks like this:

M - upper body/abs
T - run
W - legs/abs
T - run
F - circuit/abs
S - long run
S - either rest or a step or kickboxing workout, depending on how I feel

After doing P90X, I realized that I don't have to do cardio every day to get good results.

I'll usually do one day of step, one day of hi/low, and one day of kickboxing mixed in with my strength training. If I'm trying to lose weight, I'll add some incline treadmill walks after strength training days. I'll change it up occasionally and sometimes do more of one kind of cardio per week, but I'll rarely do more than 2 step workouts a week.

I like to do a variety of cardio workouts. I run, spin, step, and use an elliptical. I also vary the intensity….intervals, steady state, and easy.

I think it’s helped my cardio endurance the most.
