Cardio Question

When you are doing a cardio workout (IMax2 or LowMax for example), is it enough to do one of the premixes or do you have to do the video in its entirety?

Just curious---have been working out for awhile and always wondered if the 30-45 minutes a few times a week + strength training is enough :)

Thanks in advance!

I use the pre-mixes often. I just don't have an hour every day.

Just yest. I did 30 min. of Imax2. I skipped interval 3 - I just can't get that one.

What I do is try to get in 20 - 30 min. of cardio during the week and on the weekends, schedule my longer cardio and stength workouts.
If I can get in longer cardio during the week, I consider it a bonus.

It seems to be working for me.

same here! I try to do one hour cardio a day. However when I know i am short on time I will do 1/2 hour of cardio + 15 minutes of weight training...

Just getting out there and doing something is enough on those days were you know there is no time!

Good luck!
Andrea:)

It depends on what you want to accomplish. 30/40 minutes is perfect for health. If you want to lose weight, you might want to up the cardio. If you're happy with your weight loss and your routine - heck why change it?

I agree with Christine. It depends on your goals. For health and weight maintenance, then 35-40 minutes of cardio a day plus weight training is great!

do you do cardio and weight training everyday - my goals for cardio are health based and to maintain weight. My weight training goals are strength and definition. I work out 5 sometimes six days a week.
I usually alternate cardio one day. weight work the next. Is this okay or do I need to do both everyday?
Time is a factor, never more than 45 - 60 minutes weekdays. Can go 90 on the weekend.

Hoping you can clear this up for me.

Thanks
