Cardio Kicks

Question...what does everyone think of cardio kicks? Is it as challenging as K,P,C? I have heard about the leg drills at the end and was just wondering. Thanks,

There are no leg drills at the end of CK. They're at the end of Kickmax. Is that what you mean? CK is an older kickboxing workout. It's loads of fun, but the form leaves a little to be desired.
 
I've said several times on this forum that of all of Cathe's kickbox workouts, this one is my ALL TIME FAVE! I'm a self-proclaimed cardio junkie, so take my review of CK with that in mind! LOL Like Shelley said, the form is FAR from what it is in Cathe's more recent kickbox workouts, but the cardio factor (for me) is much higher on the scale than KPC. I ALWAYS...without FAIL....have DOMS across my shoulders and upper back the day following CK. I LOVE THIS WORKOUT!

I just did this one for the first time last week and I really enjoyed it. The cardio aspect was great (ignore the form) and I absolutley loved the punching drills...sweat was really flying by the end of the work out
 
I like CK a lot also, almost as much as KPC. And both are about the same in intensity level. Also there are hot guys in CK. ;)

This is coming from someone who hates Kick Max. I dread that workout & the weird thing is, even though the intensity seems higher, according to my HRM it burns way fewer cals than CK & KPC, which are much more fun. Go figure.
 
Oh, I guess it was the punching drills that I was hearing about!! Is the fun factor as great as K,P,C? I really love this workout and love the blast challenge in KM...those are hard :) I typically combine them into one workout, however, the combos in KM are not as much fun. I only seem to like #2 #4. Bit K,P,C (I think) is better.
 
I've only done this one twice but I really enjoyed it and it's nice to have guys to look at for a change. I don't find Cardio Kicks as intense as KPC but it is a good, effective workout and I really like the punching drills at the end.
