cardio kicks

just wanted to give you guys a warning. on the punching drills, i got a tad too enthusiastic and injured myself. my orthopedist thinks i either strained an oblique or -- get this one -- gave myself a stress fracture in a rib! for either injury, there's nothing the doc could do besides prescribe advil & heat. he estimated that it'll take six-to-eight weeks until i'm back to fightin' form (excuse the pun). i can still work out but i need to back off anything that aggravates it. thank goodness the only thing that bothers my side is oblique crunches, so i can pretty much keep to my regular routine, except no cardio kicks until i'm better. i have a feeling i hurt it during the section where cathe brings those two guys up front!
 
Hi Suzannaerin! Wow, sorry to hear about your injury. When I brought Mike and Steve up front, I had no idea they would provoke such an enthusiastic punch. Hope you are feeling better soon.
 
cathe--thanks for the good well wishes. it was my own fault for overdoing it. by the way, my sore side is well worth having those two guys up front! haha. keep up the good work. suzanna
