Cardio Kicks or Kick, Punch & Crunch

Need some opinions please.

My little sister wants a couple Cathe VHS for Xmas. She would like a circuit style workout and a kickbox workout. Not having done K,P&C, I only know how much I like CK. Which would you recommend? Also any suggestions re: a circuit/total body workout would be great. She mentioned Bootcamp, but I don't want to scare her.

About her, she is intermediate level exerciser who has fallen off the wagon for several months. She doesn't have a club step or room for a lot of equipment, probably just dumbbells.

All wisdom much welcome -- thank you in advance!

Why not try Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks and if she eventually goes DVD they are on the same one. That gives her a Circuit Style workout and a kickbox workout and even the Circuit Max has kickbox in it too. Sounds like a winning combination if I don't say so myself.:7 :7 And I did,LOL!!!

Hope that helps some!:)

An excellent idea! I concur (I just did Circuit Max yesterday: it's one of my favorites!)

But you do need a step for circuit max, so you may want to get her bootcamp, because you do not need a step for that. There is a part where she does dips off of the step but a stool could be used for that. She also uses a med ball in parts of bootcamp, but I think that you could substituate a dumbell for that.

Good luck!!

Actually, you could very easily do circuit max without a step (then maybe she'd become interested in getting a step). Only two of the cardio segments are on the step, and they'd be very easy to adapt to the floor. The other segments are floor aerobics: hi/lo and kickboxing.

Actually 3 cardio sections from CMax are on the step...the first Kickboxing section uses the step. Love CMax...love Boot Camp...love Cardio Kicks...I know I will love Kick, Punch, and Crunch....I'm not helping here am I?}(
