Cardio Coach PP - How'd You Do?

Good morning!!

I'm just waiting for my DH to get up so I can get started (my elliptical is in my bedroom, darn it :mad: ). My best to all of you, and especially to Carola.
 
I am planning on running today and would love to do this but I have not been feeling up to snuff lately so I'm not so sure PP is the wisest choice for me....:(

I guess I'll have to settle for joining y'all "in spirit"! :)

Thanks Michele!

I can't seem to shake it! I've been sick in some way shape or form for about 3 weeks now and have already been to the doc once and took the antibiotics he gave me. That had me feeling better for a little while but it didn't last long! :eek::confused:
 
First timer

Well, I joined in this morning for my first CC PP with you guys (on my treadmill). Wow, what a workout! You all have a new regular.
Carola, I hope everything went well yesterday and you are feeling all the prayers & good vibes this morning!

I'm not feeling well today either. Got sick on Thanksgiving and just not 100% yet. I will be doing CCPP shortly but it will be more of a walk/jog. I don't think my stomach could handle sprints:confused:

I am on the west coast so its only 7:15am here...will be doing the workout as soon as my coffee kicks in! Here's to you dear Carola!

I won't be able to do CCPP this weekend (I'm having some knee problems and can't work out right now), but all my thoughts were with Carola yesterday, and with all you Push Players this weekend! Thinking of you, Carola, and hope all went well! HUGS to everyone!
 
Checking in from northern California..... ccpp done -- it was terrific -- and with good thoughts for Carola!!

I'm waiting until 3:30 this afternoon to do my workout. DH has an appointment then, and I'll be able to do it without interruption. ;) :D

I just got done. I had to dig deep to finish but thinking of Team Carola kept me going!

As I reflected on my workout, I was thankful for finding this wonderful group of people. Without you all I never would have realized my true fitness that I can acheive!
 
I survived!!:D I had full intentions of keeping it to a walk/jog but as usual, I got carried away and did some full blown sprints.

Michele~ I miss you too! I haven't been over to the CC forum lately and I need to get back there. Hope all is well with you. How is DFIL and your nephew?

I thought about Carola especially during the 4th(?) challenge where Sean talks about facing our fears and being the source of our own inspirational stories.

Well, I had one of those mornings where I avoided working out like the plague. I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and am sore, so I've been moping about feeling sorry for myself. :eek: I started thinking of Carola and her courage and decided I need to get my butt on the bike and start pedaling. After several detours (laundry, breakfast...), I got my butt on the bike and started pedaling. I want to get off at several points, but thinking of Carola kept me pedaling. I'm done - did the whole thing and added challenge 3 from CC 5 (as I do not have 2) instead. GO TEAM CAROLA!

Hi everyone! I did PP for the first time today (thanks to Michele!). What a great workout. The premise behind it is so inspiring. I kept thinking of Carola and found the energy to finish strong.

Hello All!

I've not been online for a while a self imposed no internet just because I have tons going on with the Holiday season.

Just came in to say I just finished this month's CCPP day along with this month's add on challenge.

I thought of Carola and had dedicated this month's run to her and her well being.

Carola I hope you are recuperating well after your surgery yesterday sending you lots of positive energy to you as you beat and fight this thing! Big Hugs to you and yours!

After a nice long relaxing stretch which my legs needed I feel absolutely wonderful.

I'm off to shower and see what I need to bring down from the attic to start decorating the house for this holiday season ...my 10 yr old is begging me to do this.

Hope all had a wonderful Turkey Day!

Oh BTW do we know which add on challenge Coach has decided for us?

I'm done and I don't know about you guys, but this was very emotional for me today. Carola was uppermost in my thoughts and prayers, as well as my DFIL who has been in the hospital for 10 weeks, and my nephew who had his thyroid removed last Tuesday.

Before I started the workout I listened to the 1st challenge of V7. I wanted to hear the quote Carola cited in her post the other day. In light of everything she is going through, this quote had a powerful impact on me, "Fear is the mind killer. Fear destroys our hopes and desires. We must face our fears and breathe them in, so that we feel and see that they are empty threats and they have no true hold over us".

GO TEAM CAROLA!!!

I did it! I did the extra challenge #2 from CC6..that was the one right? WOW. I wanted to give up during the first challenge for some reason...but kept thinking about you all and Carola...thanks for pushing me through guys. I used the Cathe vest on my treadmill and really pushed the hills and speed (walking)....WOW.

Yep, you got the right one! Holy CRAP, tneah!! You wore a weighted vest for Press Play -- with an extra challenge!? I feel like such a wimp -- LOL!!! I bow to your greatness ;)
