Hi everyone.
Nice to see alot of familar folks here. I'm finishing up my phase II recovery week on my 3rd round of p90x. Once done I'll take 5 weeks on other things and then finish the year with a round of X. While I love p90x, I realize to get the best results on the lower body - cathe is definetely a big part of the solution!
For this round ....
- I'm adding in L&G once a week. I still dont have this figured out making it 8 days vs. using the rest day. I've tried both... think it may be based on "listening to the body)
- Subbing a cathe lower body for Legs and Back - once a week for back is fine (BB or CB)! This week was LL. I subbed in B&G (got it yesterday) for core - had to try it!
- Keeping it fresh by rotating in KPC and KM with KenpoX. I love KenpoX (especially with weighted gloves) but doing it every week adding cathe keeps it fresh
- Adding in 3 days of intervals. I've been primarily doing TJ - fat blaster. Love it in a 1/2 hr and works great! Since It's all about intervals rather than steady state I'm thinking of doing the premixes (1/2 the intervals) for the Imaxes....
Just thought of that! Like that!
- VERY happy with X for upper body, abs, YOGA is KEY!!!!, plyox and the amazing mix of focusing on flexibility, strength and cardio and built in recovery weeks.
Sadly clean eating is CRITICAL for beating those last vestiges of fat and Erradicating cellulite.... We have totally changed how we eat over the past year - focusing on the clean protein - lots of fish (2 times week salmon and talapia), chicken breasts, kabobs, white turkey burger, once week 93% sirloin. Grains are brown rice, taboulie, whole wheat pasta. I get the best and feel the best when I start the day with a protein drink....
Yikes ! Sorry this was LONG! Just writing to say how great cathe is and how important. I've been doing cathe since 99.
Boy the new workouts look tempting!!
