Can you Recommend a BEGINNING STEP video?

I am starting my step routine for the month of February and I would like some recommendations for BEGINNING Step videos. I currently have: (1) Gilad Step; (2) Kathy Smith Step Workout; and (3) Reebok - The Step Video.

Anyone have any suggestions?

how about cathe's basic step/body fusion dvd. not only these two workouts but 3 add-on workouts for upper body, lower body, and abs. i had basic step when i bought my step at wal-mart. its very very easy to pick up on. also if you don't mind vhs target might still be selling some buns of steel videos for $1. i know they had a few step workouts there as well.

I agree with Kassia. I bought her suggestion to get me into the routine of Cathe, once I got used to her, it was no turning back. And this is a great DVD.

My suggestion is for Kari Anderson-Go Step. I love Gilad's workout too. I have Cathe's basic step/body fusion and it is a good workout.

What about Cathe's Low Impact Step? That choreo is more involved than basic step and body fusion but it's still relatively simple. I think you'd probably do fine with it.

I wouldn't say Low Impact Step is easy choreography for a beginner. It has a lot of dancy moves in it. Of course, it is a blast but for a beginner-I don't know.

I guess it depends on her capability...some beginners pick up on the steps more quickly then others...I myself was a block head and had to do Basic Step MANY times before I had the nerve to move on to even Body Fusion! LOL Also, LIS didn't come out until I was doing Cathe & step aerobics for close to a year so I had a very good handle on her choreo so I don't know how I'd have picked it up as a beginner...

Maybe she should check out Cathe's video clips? That should give her a much better idea of what she thinks she handle!
