Can there possibly be a new board for the road trip???

Not to be rude or anything, but those of us not going on the RT don't necessarily need to read the 97 daily posts about the road trip on OD. I know you are all excited. :) Therefore, can someone request a separate forum for the RT? This would be an easy way for you all to track the various logistics as well.

I believe Kathy S. mentioned that they will be doing that shortly, just haven't got around to it yet.

Now I know how all the non-Roadtrippers felt last time and I apologize profusely:(

Shelley, it's fine, really. :) I couldn't go, anyway, but it's still difficult to feel like you're part of things around here when every other thread is focused on this trip. I especially feel bad for the ladies who were planning to go and ended up wait-listed.

No apologies necessary, RCN-RT'ers. ;-) We'd feel exactly the same way. We hear you loud and clear and actually anticipated this.

In the next few days we will be putting into place some other form of RT communication -- maybe a temporary separate Forum, maybe a sub-page on Cathe's site, who knows what -- Chris & Cathe & Co. are figuring that stuff out. We Coordinators will also begin communicating with the RT'ers by group e-mail. So most of this RT chatter will disappear. This weekend there have just been a few time-sensitive announcements that we needed to make, so we've had no choice but to, uh, rudely horn in on the usual Forums fun. So sorry!!!

Hi Marie and Everyone! Don't worry this is already in the works. I'm aware and very sensitive to how annoying and or disappointing it can be to read of the road trip when you are not participating. We are in the process of launching a different mode of communication for the RT info but have not completed the task yet. In the meantime so many of the same inquiries flooded customer service that we had to pin announcements until we have the Road Trip system ready to go. Thank you everyone for being patient with us for just a little while longer.

PS...Thank you Kathy, for getting an announcement up for me while I was detained :)
