Calories in organic foods compared to.....

How come the calories and carbs in some organic products so much higher than the cal. & carbs in so called junk foods?

I bought some organic cookies (whole wheat) one day and I could not believe the amount of sugar & carbs that were in them. But all the ingredients satisfied me enough to buy them--man they were good. But why is that?

That's not necessarily true. Processed foods, whether they are organic or not, vary quite a bit. Some of the organic foods are just as "junky" as non-organic junk food.

If you buy organic WHOLE foods (fruits, veggies, grains), there is no calorie difference (except maybe with the grains).
