Cathe,
I was wondering what you, as an experienced instructor, considered your Low Max and Imax3 videos to be in intensity level? I have been trying to figure out how much I burn when doing your workouts. There are days when I do your Low Max and then the step segment only of your Imax3 and vice versa....
Thoughts???
And oh by the way, I hope that you are feeling better each and every day!! You have inspired me to lose weight and feel great. I will work out to no other! Happy Easter!!

Thank you Patty!

I feel Imax 3 is very high intensity and Low Max is as intense as you want to make it. For instance in Low Max, you can do a dynamic outer thigh lift with a deep squat into a full leg extention or simply down tap (instead of the squat) and lift your leg out with a bend or a less dynamic effort (vs a fully extended leg abduction).

Hope this helps! :)

Thanks Cathe,
Do you also know how I should calculate the amount of calories burned then? What is the general rule of thumb regarding the different levels of intensity?

Patty

The eaisest way is to get a Polar Heart Rate Meter - for under $100 you can get one that mesures calories burned including a break out of fat calories.
