Calipers /Scales -Something's Off

I believe I'm taking my measurements in the correct place, I'm following the diagram. The difference between my bodyfat scale and my calipers is 10 percentage points. Anyone else have this problem, I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing this right? I hope I haven't already asked this question. Thanks for any imput.

This is a very common issue. The scales can vary based on the amount of fluids you have in your system and based on whether or not you worked out before of after you measured.

I would recommend that you choose either one or the other and then continue to use that same method to measure your progress. Be sure that you do your measurements on a consistent schedule.

The calipers are said to be more accurate...the more sights you read, the better. Just be sure to be consistant with your readings and know the # is a 'ball park' and should be used for gauging purposes.

Thanks for the advice from the both of you, by the way looking at both of your sets of pictures- you guys look great!! Oh my goodness, you should be very proud of yourselves!!!
