Good morning, girls!

Struggled to get out of bed today.

Wendy :: *lol* Knew you'd be lifting that Target ban soon. :)

Di :: I haven't been to Kohl's in months. Haven't liked the selection, either. That place is hit or miss for me.

Angie :: Didn't realize you were hosting yesterday. I miss eating my AM oatmeal...This is a new laptop and I'm very happy with it otherwise. Not sure why it does the jumping cursor thing.

I don't remember who asked about the grading, but I did make a decent dent. I graded 250 papers and have another 185 to go.

Did a Firepower premix last night. It was only 20 minutes but I got a great workout. Am lovin' the kb's. Not sure what it'll be today, but I'm going to try to get to bed early and bank some zzz's.

Good Morning Cabbers.

Cathy: You are not allowed to pick on me for Target. I was *FORCED* to go there I tell you!!!!;) Nice job banging out the grading. You'll be done in no time.

This morning I am heading to the gym to do the 30 minute Itread interval run. It's short but tough. This will be my first run since the race!:eek: This afternoon will be PPY #2 finally. I'm interested to see how it differs from the first one. :)

Ang: Glad you enjoyed the par-tay y'day. Is your house back in order this morning? Yeah, that spiked punch is AWESOME!:9 I never got DOMS from thursday or friday's work outs but I DID get it from the weekend's stuff! My tris and shoulders hurt y'day and this morning my u/b is just generally a bit sore. }(

Diana: So did the kids complete the chore list while you were gone y'day?

No more Cabbers around yet? Hmmmm...Everyone must be having a busy monday. Oh well, I can talk to myself quite well so no worries here!:p

I did ITread intervals 21/30 at the gym this morning for a run of just over 3 miles. That work out is short but what an arse-kicker! I forgot to check my IPOD before I left for the gym. It ended up being low on power so I started the work out in the "red zone" and thought it might cr@p out on me before I finished but thankfully it held on til the bitter end. ;)
 
Morning Ladies ...

I have a huge "L" tattooed on my forehead!!:( YUP .. I lost .. DANG IT!!! But boy did I have a good time .. my friend hit big once and won $700 .. I promptly made her put it in the safe and leave it .. LOL! She wanted to dip into it .. but I would not let her!! LOL .. she thanked me yesterday!! LOL .. she was the ONLY one that won!! x( but we had a blast!! consumed LOTS of CABS!!! and ate some delish seafood!!:)

I am about to go to lunch .. not sure going to be doing either heavy legs .. or bis and tris 4DS ...

no time for personals .. gotta run .. will BBL after lunch ...:7
 
Hi Ladies,

I didn't sleep very well last night. I did BBC arms & abs but only one round of the cardio. I spent too much time procrastinating instead of getting started. I did feel pretty good though since I was using 12lbs for biceps and Joey was using 15's. The girls in this series seem to use really light weight, 5's. I even used 10's for triceps, I did drop to 8's on the 3rd set.

I have my meltdown class tonight and may try to do the second round of bbc cardio when I get home. We do a lot of the same cardio in my meltdown class, but it doesn't ever seem to get any easier.

Wendy-nice run this morning. I have an ifit, or itread to use today (if I get a lunch) on the treadmill. Yep, I said treadmill. I need get busy starting to run and am willing to give the tready another try. I love target. You got some great bargains yesterday. Yep, the house looked great when I got home.

Cathy-Doing a little activity everyday will get you back where you want to be in no time! Grading papers sounds horrible to me. Since it's part of your job I'm sure you don't mind. Although a teachers work is never done. You have planning and grading on top everyday teaching. I don't know how you do it. A friend gave me some great coupons (25%) for sports authority so I'm going to look for kb's. Do you think 15lbs are good to start with.

Laura-I wouldn't say loser. It's just the price you pay for the entertainment. I'm not much of a gambler as I tend to lose all the time. Fortunately, DH usually does pretty good when he goes. Have a great workout.

Angie-I didn't realize you were hosting the cookout. Hope the family helped you out with all the cooking and cleaning. So you are starting another round of p90x today. You go girl!!!

Laura: Sorry you lost but hey, you had a great time and that's really what counts. When I go to A/C I love to gamble and would always like to win but I have a great time wether I win or lose so I am always glad I went. :)

Diana: Glad the house was neat as a pin when you got home. You have good kids!:) Enjoy BBC. I haven't done them in a while. I only have a few more weeks before I'm supposed to start NROL. Perhaps I can squeeze in a week of BBC some where. I'll see what happens.

Ok .. 4 DS - shoulders and abs done! :) boy my shoulders were really on fire today ... I upped the weight a bit .. but not so much as to account for the fire in them!! YOWZA .. SIL said the same thing ... but she did Muscle Endurance yesterday and has an excuse .. my sorry butt was in the road and indulging in CABS yesterday .. LOL ... can that be MY excuse?? LOL

Wendy .. no I never regret going .. but was hoping to win!! guess you always want to win .. usually either my DH or myself win .. so since we both lost guess that is a bummer .. but we had a blast .. went ot 3 different casinos .. FUN and although we lost we had a ball ESPECIALLY my friend .. LOL .. she was one happy camper!! LOL

Di .. I dont see how you work your legs so hard .. WOW .. I was thinking about doing the BBC upper body NEXT week .. can't remember what # weights I used on them .. but I am sure it was not 10 and 12# .. YIKES .. that is a lot of reps at that weight!! Yeah gotta consider is $$$ for entertainment .. I think I ate and drank my losses .... :7 Free room .. free meals .. free CABS .. it all works out!! :D

Cathy .. hey you made a dent in those papers huh? I would not like grading papers either .. my mind would probably wander and eyes start crossing and things would start running together ... kudos to all you teachers out there!!

Angie .. Now you got your friends and parents hooked on the Wii!!! LOL ... too funny!! Wii and CABS .. now that sounds fun!!! I know all my friends that have one .. LOVE it!! How is your weather this week?? Hoping for a thaw for you!!

OK ... today is my mother's birthday .. and my SIL and DB anniversary!! I am going over after class tonight to visit for a quick bit .. it will be late when I get home. We all went in together and got her a outdoor lounge chair and table .... so she should be happy!!

Think tonight's class is going to be a circuit class (w/o shoulder work) .. going to try to cut it short to get home a bit earlier!! Ok have a great one!! will BBL to check in w/you girls!!

Good afternoon girls!

So I tried to do PPY #2 this afternoon. I got through only 15 minutes of it before shutting it off. I just wasn't in the mood. I'm hoping to be able to do a bit more tonight after DS goes to bed since it's DH's bowling night. :)

I'm makin' meatloaf for dinner tonight. I LOVE meatloaf! Y'all can come over and have some if you want!;) I know...you probably HATE it, right? :p :7

I'm also doing laundrymax...the never-ending chore...x( x( x(

I am getting excited about our little trip to FLA but a part of me wants to stay home so I can work out! How sick is that!? LOL I am going to bring w/o clothes, sneaks and hope I can perhaps go for a run. I also thought about bringing our portable dvd player and a vid that doesn't take up much space to do. Yes, I'm addicted!:p

Alrighty...I've babbled on quite long enough.
I'll bb after dinner!

ETA: We just looked up the hotel we are staying in and it has a fitness ctr! YAY! I will still bring the dvd player just incase but perhaps I won't have to use it!:)

I LOVE meatloaf! I have a great recipe for mini-meatloaves .. they are the perfect size to freeze or for plates to warm up ... easy too!! You use, ground meat, instant oates, catsup, chopped onion, eggs, and cheddar cheese. make 'em into little loaves - top them w/mixture of brown sugar, catsup and dried mustard...and cook them for an hour on 350. They are FINE .. not too awful fattening b/c I use venison hamburger meat!!! If you want to full blown recipe I will be glad to shoot you an email!!

I am already feeling my shoulders thinking I may have some DOMS from upping the weight!!

I have had a PIA-free Monday .. {{sigh}} :) .. oh yeah .. she called in sick AGAIN!!! x( funny how her sick days fall on Friday and Monday and allway coincide w/her son's baseball out of town games!! hhhhhmmmmmmmm

Anyway .. 30 more minutes and I am on to inflict some pain and sweat out my CABS! May have to have one w/mother tonight in celebration of her B-day! No biggie!!! LOL

Wendy :: I’m not pickin’ on you at all. I’m impressed you lasted as long as you did. (I sure wouldn’t have.) :) Great news about the hotel!

Laura :: sorry you didn’t walk away a winner this time, but it still sounds like it was helluva time. Good of you to keep your friend in check! Happy b’day to your DM.

Diana :: I don’t mind grading usually, but in the past two years, for some reason, I I’ve gotten backed up a few times, and then it gets ugly…I think 15 lb. is good to start. I am still using my 15 for many exercises, but I do now incorporate the 20 and see myself going heavier eventually. For certain moves like snatches or Turkish squats, the 15 is plenty for me just yet. I do have to be careful with my low back.

Hi Angie!

I just came back from a 2-mile run. I have decided to train for the marathon. It was a goal of mine some years ago before I was sidelined with AT and then it just fell out of sight. But it's something I still feel a need to conquer. I had it in mind to pursue it within the next year, but now with all the reflection I've been doing lately through the NB process, I have decided now is the time.

Hi Ladies,

It's been a hurry up and wait kind of day at work. It's almost over then I'll be headed to my meltdown class. I think next monday is my last class. Good thing Wendy's working on a rotation for me!

Did you all see the sts filming is done!

Wendy-Usually my kids are pretty great, but they have their moments. I'm sure you know all about that with the terrible 2's. I happen to love meatloaf. I put eggs, oatmeal,worcestershire, catsup, mustard, etc.

Laura-I would love the full meatloaf recipe. You can email to me if you like. I'm no sissy, I love heavy weights. Too bad I like chocolate as much as I like weights. That's my problem.

Cathy-What marathon are you training for- chicago. That is wonderful. One of my goals was to run a marathon before I hit 40. That never happened, but I love the HM distance.

Hi cabbers

OMG - P90X C&B kicked my butt! And then I added ARX - I forgot how hard that was too.:eek: :7 I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight for sure. Then DH and I took the beagle for a walk back on the property. We lost almost all of our snow this weekend and it's time to walk the dog again. It was nice when we headed out and then a front hit and it got COLD! So, I made up for my lack of exercise over the weekend and terrible eating too. Well, maybe not. *lol* But hey, it's TTOM so I would've eaten terribly anyways.

Cathy - Thought you were looking for a new computer to replace the one you took back. Maybe I missed something there. That cursor thing would drive me nuts too.
Boy, you sure did get on top of that heap o' work! It also sounds like you are getting back on schedule too.;-)
When is the marathon you are training for?

Wendy - So when do you leave for Fl? I'm sure it will be a fun trip. Is the munchkin going too?

The weather this weekend was beautiful! Today is cooler and the forecast for the coming week looks yucky. They're calling for a rain snow mix for the entire next weekend.x(

Diana - Great job on BBC. Those are killer and the weights you use are amazing. Hope the meltdown class kicks butt.
I was pretty much on my own with the cleaning and getting ready for the cookout. The next time we will be going to BF's house.;-) Their boys can drive us home afterwards since we only live a couple of miles away, we can CAB away and not worry about it.
I saw that STS was done! How awesome is that??? I can't wait to get my hands on it.;-)

I think, if I have enough energy, I will do plyoX tomorrow morning (fasted) except, of coarse for a cup o' joe or so. I have some errands to do tomorrow night so it would work out better for me to get my workout out of the way early. I guess I'll have to see. I'm thinking I'm gonna have some DOMS tomorrow.

I just finished PLB!!!

I was supposed to do yoga tonight to make up for blowing it off earlier today but I still wasn't feeling it so I opted to do tmrw's leg work out instead. I haven't given the Pyramids much thought in quite some time and now all of the sudden I am in love with them! Go figure! :7 It's not that I ever thought they were bad work outs...I just wasn't into them. I'm really enjoying them now though so I may just roll with it for now since I have a few more weeks before I'm supposed to start NROL. :)

Cathy: I am so excited for you and your marathon training! Will you be following a specific training schedule?? I'll bet that shower felt good. I hate when I get the chills after a work out.

Diana: How was meltdown tonight?

Angie: I leave for FLA on Thursday. Our flight is at 8pm. We won't be landing in Tampa until 11! YIKES! Gonna be a late and tiring night.
