We are finally drying out from this N'oreaster and getting some sun today--woohoo!

A quick one here as I'm caught up wit da personals.

I'm aiming for a run after school, but I do have to stay later to bang out more grading. If things get too late, I may switch up and do my weights instead.

Yesterday my eating was INSANE. No wonder the scale is my enemy. :p How's everyone else doing with clean(er) eating?

Morning.

Cathy: Um...well...ya see....my eating still STINKS!x( I am waaay hungry and as much as I TRY to be good I always end up sticking some kind of cr@p in my mouth! Being very hungry isn't that bad if I would only stick to clean foods. It was never this hard for me to eat healthy. WTH is my problem? The scale is my enemy right now. I can't even look at it! Mirrors are my enemy too. The extra weight is all around my middle. BLECH!x( Sorry you asked? :p :7 I hope you get home in time for that run!!!

Not sure what I'll be doing today work out wise. I have BBC F/B on tap as well as a run. The run is happening regardless but BBC may be changed up for the first day of NROL if I decide to head to Target and buy a stability ball. I'm such a kid when it comes to this stuff. I just can't wait! :7 I also ordered a weighted vest that adjusts up to 40#. I'll need it for NROL and for STS. I'm sure it will come in handy for other things as well.

Hi Ladies,

Yesterday ended up being a rest dayx( I did get through my closet but still have dresser drawers to get through. I can work on those next weekend when I plan on cleaning out Jerod's room too.

I'm trying to get in touch with a couple consignment shops. I'd like to take some of my nicer suits, slacks and blouses there and maybe get a little money for them. They are too nice to simply donate to charity. It was definitely not fun trying on all the clothes that I've uhhmmm-outgrown. I knew they were in there and it's time to let go of them. I would rather have a closet full of clothes that fit me and I feel comfortable in.

My eating has been terrible the past few weeks and it definitely shows. I need to clean up my eating now. Weight watchers is great for that but I hate counting points and their plan doesn't really target folks who work out like we do. However, they do offer healthy meal plans and clean eating. I haven't been working the plan, but if I stick to it I will lose weight.

Cathy-sounds like you're going to have a busy week. I really love my BC classes which will be starting the beginning of June. I like that we can work at our own pace and really push ourselves. My classes included a couple marathon runners as well as non-exercisers.

Wendy-So you've decided to give NROL4W a try. I think we'll be getting STS in about 60 days. Cathe mentions it's about 90 days after filming before they are sent out. You'll have to tell me again what NROL stands for. Do you think you can wait to do STS once you have it in your hands.

Angie-ITA regarding community school for 2 years. Zach's going to a specialized computer school which is why they offer the bachelor's program in 3 yrs, and you pretty much go year round. He's still deciding between Hardware and Software, leaning more towards the Hardware side. He's even considering Computer Information Systems (CIS) which is what my degree is in. Have fun shroomin'. The X does not get easier IMO. I'm doing a week of circuits as my recovery week but will be starting round 2 next week. I'm looking forward to Back & Biceps!

Laura-Are you in Vegas this week or still here with us.

I'm heading down for Drill Max in it's entirety. I've been doing premixes with this w/o and haven't done the whole thing in months. Wish me luck!

Good Afternoon Ladies.

I did it. I put the kibosh on BBC at the end of week 3 in favor of NROL. It's okay though. 3 weeks is a long time for me to stick with a program so I done good!;) LOL

I went pretty light with weight today for my first NROL. I will definately be increasing steadily from now on for a while and that's what I wanted to make sure I could do. When I was done with the weight work I did 1/2 of Interval X+. I was supposed to hit the gym but simply ran out of time. I hope to make it there on Thursday now. I think I will like NROL but working out sans video will take some getting used to. I didn't even have any music today. I'll have to wear my ipod on Thursday when I do it. :) I already had some chest DOMS from y'day's work out and I had to do push ups today. I should feel charming in the chest tmrw. }(

Diana: So how did DM go? That's a toughie but a fun one. Hope you enjoyed it! I have no idea what will happen when STS gets delivered to my door. I make no promises! LOL

Hello girls

Boy, it sure is quiet in here today. Everyone must have beautiful weather and be out in it. Can't blame you all for that. It's sunny and 78 degrees here today. It's almost too hot. But, today is supposed to be the warmest day of the week and then rain for the weekend.}(
I got up this morning and got PlyoX outta the way early so I could give blood this afternoon and not have to worry about working out afterwards. I figured that would be a good way to get rid of a few calories.:D So, now I feel like I have some free time, but I have a basement that is in dire need of clutter control as well as dishes and laundry. Does it ever end?

Cathy - You are soooo tempting me to bag the housework and try Mario Kart. But, I just can't do it..... If you saw my house you'd have to agree.:p
I know I said I was with you all with the good eats, and I tracked last week, but I haven't tracked since Friday. It's so time consuming and it's not as much of a deturrent as it used to be. When I first started, I stopped eating junk b/c I didn't want to put it on my daily intake list. Now, I eat it anyway and put it on and it doesn't bother me like it should. Tis the season for just letting it all go I guess. I'm pretty strict with my exercise though so at least I have that to lean on. I've already been thinking ahead to vacation and I gotta figure out how to squeeze it in there since I KNOW the eats AND drinks are not going to be clean. There's a park very close by, so I think I'm gonna just put on the sneakers and go for a run.
I hope you were able to take advantage of the nice weather. A good run is just good for the soul. IA, those long runs would probably be better spaced away from those BC classes.

Wendy - I hear you on the motivation to clean b/c of a party. *lol* My house usually looks it's best after we have our NASCAR party in October. I wish I was disciplined enough to have it clean like that all the time.
I don't like Slo-mo so that would not work for me. Since I'm doing the X, I guess that would leave NROL. I gotta look into that sometime and give it a shot. But, after I finish the X, it will probably be time for STS.:7 I'm on week 2 phase 2, so if there's more time, I will mix it up with BBC and GS and probably some other Cathe's too. I really miss Cathe when I'm doing the X.:-(
I saw a weighted vest in Wally world this weekend and considered it. I might have to just go for it. Although, I can't believe it's going to be very comfortable, especially if I'm all sweaty.

Diana - Good job on that spring cleaning. I should be following suit. Maybe I can get a bit done tonight.
All year round school doesn't sound like any fun at all!! Kudos to him for considering that.

I did SB last weekend, which is the first time I had done a step w/o in a while which is soooooo unlike me. It was harder than I thought it would be b/c I think my step endurance went out the window. I also found that my right heel really acts up with step workouts. I didn't really realize that until I noticed that I haven't had that problem in months.....now I know why.

Alrighty then.....I need to quit stalling and get my tuckas downstairs and get my clutter under control. My pantry needs some attention badly!!
