Good Morning Cabbers. :)

I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night after getting a lot of packing/washing accomplished. I feel good this morning. I'd feel BETTER if I didn't have to go to work but hey, ya win some, ya lose some, right? :p

Today will be a cardio only day since I did kb's y'day. I'll likely do an IMAX 2 premix or some other HIIT creation + some steady state perhaps.

So I am DEFINATELY signing up for the nutrition program...I need it BADLY!!!!:eek: I just keep gaining weight!:confused: ACK!

Morning Ladies!

Wow it was lonely in here yesterday .. glad my vacationers are back!:p sounds like the two of you had a blast!!! Wonderful! Reality is NOT fun huh???

Well .. the air was on last night .. thank goodness .. and I turned out a kick arse class .. the abs, chest and hip flexors are DOMING a bit today!!

Tonight we have ANOTHER B-day get together .. this one I am going in 1/2 hearted .. this is for the BF that has been MIA due to the jerk of a boyfriend .. she FINALLY cleared a little time to meet w/her supposed BF's for her B-day get together .. conveniently she could not meet when we wanted .. and SHE IS OFF .. as in NOT WORKING .. she's a teacher and starts back to school the end of next week .. I will be shocked if she actually shows .. I really just wanted to drop off her gift b/c she has blown us off for so long .. but VBF convinced me I NEEDED to show .. :mad: .. but I will enjoy seeing her if she does show .. and always love getting together w/my girlfriends ..

I am going to try to fit in a lunch w/o .. nothing too hard b/c it is so freaking hot today .. sticky hot .. the air is so heavy and thick ..

Ang .. glad you had a great trip .. and good visit w/BF ... how is little Maggie doing .. any pics yet?? I did bad on the eats too .. trying to get it together .. my all time favorite food is crab legs .. and no I dont get them often .. they are not really fattening it is the lemon-butter that I dip them in that is so fattening!! OH well .. it was a delicious treat!

Wendy ... glad your trip was fun too .. you are dedicated to the w/o even on vacation .. I usually take the word vacation LITERALLY .. and skip the w/o .. unless it is a LONG vacation! LOL I have a feeling when it comes time for the RT you are going to biting at the bit to get there and sweat like a maniac and enjoy all the girls!!! Have fun!!

Di .. where are you girl??:rolleyes: .... hoping the "void" is not too bad for you .. I bet it is a lot more quiet .. how is the BC classes going .. what has that creative torturous trainer got ya'll doing now???

OK .. better run .. PIA has been in bosses office kissing @$$ again .. has been in there for about 40 minutes .. so she is sucking up for something .. OH that's right it is about to be the FIRST of the month .. her usual days for laying out of work .. GEEZE .. things never change!!:confused:

ps ...my baby Tootsie is MUCH better ... she ate last night .. and was her old happy self this morning .. so it was probably something she ate .. thank goodness!!
 
Fly by post for now...

Finished my work out. I did all 6 Drill Max cardios with 1:30 min recoveries in between to make it into an HIIT or at the least, an interval work out. It took about 45 mins from w/u to stretch. I'm happy with that.

Gotta jet to the foodstore! I signed up for Cathe's nutrition program this afternoon so now I have to get some healthy food in da house!:D

Hiya cabbers

I can't wait for the weekend so I can have some time to just chill. After work today I got home and did HST. I haven't done that in a while and it is a goodie for sure. My butt is DOMin from B&G yesterday and I thought those hoover squats at the end of HST was gonna be the death of me. Ouchie! But, I haven't worked the butt hard in a long time so I thought I'd better get some stamina working in that area before the RT or I won't be able to walk. I'm kinda scared of the workouts we're in for.

OK - will one of you all tell me how to use the icons??? Every time I click on one it goes by the title box instead of where I want it to go. Grrrrrrrr

Wendy - You'll face your fear on the RT thing and you'll be sooooo glad you did. I really think we are all in for a wonderful treat. I'm just kickin myself that I didn't go a couple of days earlier to just check things out. Why didn't I think to do that??? I just got so caught up in the moment that it never occurred to me when I booked my flight. Live and learn I guess. Next year I will NOT make the same mistake. I'm sure I'm gonna be exhausted by the time I get home, but I am starting to get stoked.
Nice workout today. Very imaginative. Do you use the gym boss for your rest periods?
Girl - would you stop being so hard on yourself! You just got back from vacation. You're weight is bound to be up a bit. Hats off to you for not letting it get out of control, but be nice to yourself too.
I can't wait to hear what you think of the nutrition program. I'm sure I'll be signing up too, but it'll have to wait until after Labor Day since I will be gone too much until then for it to do me any good.

I know, I need to get some Maggie pics. Actually, I haven't taken any yet. I NEED to do that since she is already changing. She is taller and thinner than what she was when we got her. DH thinks she's thinning out b/c she was in a kennel before and she's all over the place here. She's definitely logging some miles. *lol*
What a relief that Toots is OK. Sooooo glad to hear it. Give her an extra hug for me.

Actually tonight we had the concrete guy here to give us an estimate on the porches and the retaining wall. I told him that whatever he did with the wall, I wanted to make sure there was NO way that a cable could get stuck in it. This guy was great! I can't wait to see what he has in store for us. He specializes in decorative concrete. Now, we have to get a quote on siding, windows, door, and gutters. We're re-doing the whole outside of the house. It looks so crappy now and I am over it. Time to sink a bit o' money into home sweet home. Tomorrow I will be heading to town to get some ideas on siding and doors.

Hi Ladies,

I didn't post over the weekend since my fellow cabbers were vacationing! I did my scheduled 7 mile run on Monday (should've done it Sat.-oh well). I missed my 3 mile run yesterday but did my scheduled 6 miles for today. I have to say, I'm getting pretty bored with the running. My weight is up and I am finding a hard time fitting in weight training. I miss weight training and my Cathe workouts. What's a girl to do??? I did Leaner Legs yesterday morning. There just isn't any consistency to my weight training.

My dad (80 yrs) was supposed to have surgery yesterday for an enlarged prostate. I went up to the hospital to sit with my stepmom. Well the surgery was done a little sooner than what we had been told. When the surgeon came out to talk to us, he said they found bladder cancer and removed all the cancer but didn't do the prostate surgery. He actually got to go home yesterday and I talked to him yesterday and today and he sounds really good.

DH and I are both on vacation this week but we are working on the house. the carpets were cleaned yesterday and look really nice. We bought some tile to put on the wall behind our fountain. We also had an electrical outlet put behind the fountain so we can hide the cord. Here's the problem, the fountain needs to be about 2 1/2" away from the wall for us to plug it in and it's not. Hopefully this can be resolved soon (dh is coming up with a solution). Next on the agenda is regrouting the upstairs kids bathroom. I just want to pay someone and have them come take care of it. DH thinks I should learn how to do it myself.:mad:

Jerod has been asked to play for a competitive football team this year. He's also playing up a year with the 13 year olds. He said he wants to do this but it will sure be tough playing with kids bigger than him. He's used to being the big kid and in this league he's not. He's also playing in the Bronco Bowl, the kids will get to play at Invesco Field, the Denver Bronco stadium. Of course this is non other than Aug 9th and I will be at the RT. I'm a little disappointed I won't get to see him play.

Wendy-I can't believe you worked out every day of your vacation. You are awesome. I will probably be signing up for the nutrition program soon too. I'm glad you had more fun than you expected on vacation. Does Joey start preschool soon? Jerod starts 7th grade on Aug 19.

Laura-Congratulations on your 22yr anniversary!! I'm with you, vacation is vacation. If I can fit a workout in-great. If not-no worries. We usually do a lot of swimming, hiking and biking on vacation and I count those as working out. We had to move our bootcamp class to the parking lot since the football fields are being used now. We did decline pushups w/feet on the curb, rear lunges with a glute lift off the curb, leap to the side w/squat between the parking spot lines, dips off the park benches, decline pushups off the park benches, running on the lines- in-in-out-out, and running between all these exercises. We finished up with ab work and stretch.

Angie-I'm glad you and BF had a great time camping! What good news about getting the trailer fixed too. When do the boys go back to school? How is Maggie doing? Did you take her camping with you? The icons show up next to the title, but the smilies show up where the curser is when you click on them. Hope that helps a bit.
