Cabs and Abs Tuesday is one day closer to Friday

Hey Girls.

I have yoga on tap for today but I think I want to do more so I am considering Core Syn or Mint Condition again. It depends on HOW much more I wanna do!;) }( :p

Not much else to report. Gotta work today...FUN FUN! NOT! LOL

Morning Ladies!!

Well the "funk" is lifting .. thanks to an EXCELLENT EVIL workout and a very good nights sleep!!:) Feeling more like my chipper energetic self.

Class last night was a good one .. have a few light DOMS in the quads and abs and bis .. did some walking lunges and those get me everytime!! the older newbie didn't show .. but had 2 come back that have not been in a while .. it is spring break here .. so I was surprised class was full!

SIL and I are supposed to meet today .. going to attempt 4 DS again .. but no bis and tris b/c I have 1/2 kickboxing 1/2 power yoga tonight .. so will probably opt for chest and back!

Wendy... don't think my eating will ever be "clean" persay!! :-( .. I just love food too much .. and I am in the South .. and love my Southern cooking!! BUT that being said .. I eat fairly clean to be living in the South!! LOL:) .. My calories are usually around 1500 on average .. and the days I do indulge on the CABs of course that count goes up! LOLx( DANG IT .. can't they come up with a NON CALORIC beer!! LOL Most of my fat comes from CHEESE .. yes I love it .. and the only other fat is when DH gets on a deep frying mode! The supper meal being the worst!! But most of the meat is venison .. even the hamburger meat is venison .. we grill A LOT.. and I love veggies (cooked w/o fat) .. and lean Quisines are the staple for the weekday lunch meal .. and Breakfast usually consist of Cheerios or egg whites and in the summer a protien smoothie .. snacks are fruit. Where I blow it is on the weekend.. CABS .. and my cheese fettish!! LOL:D

Angie .. That Wii is an elusive little sucker isn't it?? Keeping fingers crossed for your onging Wii hunting expedition!:) ya .. the diet isn't "that" bad .. (see above Wendy comments) .. but I do tend to give in to the CABS much too often!!

Di .. let's hear it .. we want meltdown details!! What pain was inflicted last night??

Hi Ladies,

The meltdown class was really tough last night. We did mid session weigh ins and I am down 2lbs. We ran stairs, around the track-run to the gym for some plyo jumps and repeat several more times. Then on to the ball for chest and shoulder work, walking lunges and abs.

This morning I did 4DS Chest & Triceps, and followed up with abs. I really need get my pushup endurance back, it was sorely lacking this morning.

Wendy-I try to do 6 days of cardio, either stepping, kickboxing or the elliptical. I have all the Cathe w/o's and others too. As far as weights I try to do about 4 hours per week. I prefer to work legs by themselves (my trouble area) but can mix and match upper body weights. On weekends I usually have time for a weight w/o and a cardio since I'm home. Weekdays I can commit to 1 hour and possibly a lunch workout. Since the X I've been doing GS mostly and throwing in 4DS too.

Laura-You work out plenty to enjoy the few pleasures you indulge in. I really need a change in my work environment so I've started gathering data to include in my resume. I don't expect changes any time soon, but I am preparing my resume and hope to be able to start sending them out next month.

Cathy-good work on the NB stuff. I'm sure you will be so relieved once it's completed and in the mail!

Angie-LinkedIn is a professional networking site. Recruiters also frequent the site and once I get my profile completed, hopefully someone will take notice and give me a call.

Laura: Your diet doesn't sound nearly as bad as you make it seem. You must drink ALOT of CABS!;) :7 :9

I've decided to do the Mint Condition work out again today but this time I will add weights to the burpees and the walking lunges to up the leg work a bit. }(

Well 4DS chest and back is done!! I am making good strides in my push ups .. although I do have to hit the knees towards the end!! The chest is shaking now!! upped my weight again! I look like hunga bunga woman next to SIL lifting .. LOL!! Just call me Amazon Woman!!

Wendy .. thanks for the kudos on the not so clean eating .. guess my little things add up to big things .. like REAL peanut butter (although ate sparingly) .. like REAL cheese .. REAL butter .. REAL salad dressing (unless I am only doing balsamic vinegar).. I like breads, potatoes, white rice, etc .. so definately NOT clean .. but I try to watch the calories .. and yes my biggest splurge is the CABS .. ;)

.. speaking of .. our girls night out is tommorrow .. CABS all around tommorrow night .. sssssseeeeee .. THAT is where I blow it!! LOL

hey .. Wendy .. tell us what the Mint Condition workout contains ... can only imagine!! :D

Here's the basics of the mint condition work out run down since Laura asked for it!}(

Combo 1: Plyo Lunges, Plyo Squats, High Knee Run

Conbo 2: Even Push Ups, Shoulder work from plank hold position, Plyo Push up

Combo 3: Walking Lunges, Squat Thrusts (burpees)

Combo 4: Shuffle push up, Push ups, Shuffle push up, Push ups.(These are very tough especially after all of the previous push ups being done!!! It's bascially a walking side to side plank with push ups in between. OUCHEES!)

Combo 5: Same as set 3

Combo 6: Hanging leg raise, Straight legged levitation hold

The way it works is you do each exercise in combo 1 for a given # of reps one time through w/no rest in between. Once you have completed all exercises in the combo then you rest for 30 seconds and repeat for a total of 2-3 sets for each exercise. Rest for 30 seconds and then move on to combo 2 and do the same thing, then combo 3, etc. I did 2 set per exercise plus a short warm up and cool down. It took me about 45 minutes and I was SPENT by the time I was done!}(

That being said...I'm off to give it another go!

Laura, if you want to do it I will give you the rep counts for each exercise!}( }( }( Or pick up the mag and you can have your very own copy to work from!!!!:7
 
Laura: Oh and btw, so long as the peanutbutter you are eating is NATURAL then it's better to eat the full fat version as it is a CLEAN food! I eat it too. Moderation is key! I also eat real cheese every week on my sandwiches!:9
 
YOWZA .. what a freaking workout .. THAT should be named MELTDOWN class instead of MINT condition .. YIKES!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

Think I can make up my own reps on it .. hhhmmmmm .. I can see doing Combo 1 and Combo 3 mixed in my core torture class :eek: }( }( My class is gonna kill you!! I do all of that in the core class (except combo4 and 6).. it is just not arranged in that order .. NOR done that many times .. especially done back to back .. YIKES!! My legs are burning just thinking about it!!:eek:

Hi cabber babes

Crazy busy day today. I was at a truck safety meeting from 8-5!:eek: I got home, made dinner (b/c I was so hungry without my usual snack), and headed down to the EXT with CC#4. I was afraid that I would get some cramps but actually I felt really good. I really wanted to just bag the w/o but I knew if I just started it Sean would push me thru and he did.;-) Gotta love that man! (right Laura...*lol*)
Tomorrow DH and I have that court date in the morning for that truck ticket.}( I'm not looking forward to that at all, but we have to go since it really is NOT a fair ticket. Hopefully the judge will see it our way.
I had no luck finding a Wii again today. Walmart said check back tomorrow and we will be there in the morning for court so maybe we'll strike gold. I was dreaming about it last night. Now, I know I've lost it. :D
By the time I get back to work and get my usual stuff done, it will be another late day.:( This week is flying by and Friday we're all going to an indoor waterpark b/c the kids have Good Friday off. That should be fun! So, it will be a 3-day weekend for us.:)

Diana - Awesome about the 2 pounds!:) How many days per week do you have the meltdown class? That class sounds awesome!
I think that's great that you are considering a different job. It's gotta be scarey. Hang tough....you'll do great!

Wendy - I just saw a commercial that tomorrow is the season finalle of Lipstick Jungle. Can you believe that?? Didn't it pretty much just start? I do like that show too. Kirby....*sigh*....good thing he's not on STS eh?:7
Ohhhhhh, now I'm gonna have to look up that magazine. Sounds like a super duper workout.

Laura - Isn't it amazing what a good nights sleep will do? So glad you are feeling you're normal self again.;-)
You eat 1500 cals on average? Good lord, I'd be hating life on only 1500 cals!:7 Ah heck, I indulge a bit in the CABs too. I push myself on the workouts so that I can have some leeway with my eats. I'm not ever gonna give up CABs completely, but fortunatley (or not) my body won't let me overindulge too much on CABs or I'm a pukin' my guts out the next day. LOL! I guess that's one way to make sure I don't drink too many empty calories.:D
Have fun with your workouts today. I'll bet SIL is looking forward to STS too??
